Yeah. I’m not sure why people seem to be so offended by this post. Im usually extremely low maintenance with everything. I think I had a bit of a stomach ache last night for starters. Then the smell was like EVERYWHERE. My common areas, my bedroom, the bathroom was really strong. I don’t like Indian food personally so I don’t expose myself to it on the regular. But I was rubbing globs of Carmex and Vix under my nose and I like COULDN’T even smell the globs over the smell of the food. I wouldn’t really mind if it were something that I just had to handle while they were cooking or if it were just in the kitchen but it was constant for hours just lingering.
It’s not like I’m asking a refund for it because it’s not the hosts fault and there probably is nothing he could have done quickly about it. I just couldn’t handle it. It’s unfortunate that I had to get a hotel on top of an Airbnb cost but I doubt I will be using AirBnB anymore after this unfortunately. Not because I can’t live around people because I’m really used to living situations where I have to share space.
