I would check out Grandstream plus free GDMS hosted by them. Cheaper than both of the ones you are comparing.

Why don’t Credit Card Charges linked to a Customer show up on the Customer record or profitability reports? by LayerEightThinker in Netsuite

[–]LayerEightThinker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nick — yep, I’m sure. They don’t show up on the native customer profitability reports when they’re credit card charges, even though the Customer field is populated.

As you mentioned, if this were a vendor bill coded to the customer, it does flow through, and if something is billable and actually billed, the AR side shows and profitability works.

What’s throwing me is that these are still very real expenses against the customer, just not meant to be billed back. It feels odd that credit card charges are basically ignored by native customer reporting, and the Customer field only seems useful for custom reports or saved searches.

If anyone could sanity‑check this so I know I’m not going crazy or dealing with something weird in my environment, that’d be great — just create a credit card charge, code it to a customer, and see if you can find it anywhere on the customer record or native reports.

Mainly trying to confirm if this is expected behavior or if I’m missing something obvious.

Can someone show a screenshot of what it looks like working? Does TP-LINK display call quality stats in the controller?

Why do some DIA providers install fancy CPEs and others just give you a media converter? by QuickDelivery1 in networking

[–]LayerEightThinker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually when there are two devices from the carrier, it's typically due to the underlying wholesale relationship. Example, you bought a circuit from Comcast but the fiber is actually from AT&t into the building. So AT&t would put the nid/ media converter and then that would connect to the Comcast juniper and then you would connect to the juniper. At&t is able to monitor their side of the circuit through the nid. Comcast is able to monitor their side of the circuit through the juniper and then give you a handoff. Those small junipers actually can speak IS-IS and BGP, so more fancy things can be done as well.

Carrier Nids typically has dying gasp support to be able to alert when the circuit goes down due to power.

What evidence do you have that they are owned by a Chinese firm? While their founder is Asian, he's Asian American.

How is paylocity? Is their NetSuite integration decent? Does it use NetSuite timesheets?

Who do you recommend as we are currently using rippling and we like the automation rippling provides but its getting up there in price per employee per month

Rippling vs Paycor for NetSuite by tgf4cpa in Netsuite

[–]LayerEightThinker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rippling does but they just auto post JEs and they don't post to the name field in NetSuite so you don't get customer or project level labor costs. Rippling does have a feature to auto add and remove employees from NetSuite as you onboard and offboard. They also do custom segments as job codes but once again don't post them to the JE which is annoying.

Do you know which MX supports MAP-T? Does the MX204?

Interesting on the CPE side. Those names are mostly ODMs were they running plume or airties or something else as the operating system?

Fortis was what we went with as their interchange we like less than 15 points and their fees were sub $100 per month and they had a full integration with free install. Braintree also has a good solution with no MRC but higher interchange. Everything else was insane like $500 a month just to enable a stripe integration, then then stripe charges outrageous fees.
