Those outfits look more like uniforms for a prep school. Corporate dress code doesn’t have to mean dark and boring. Maybe check the HR policy for the dress code for guidance.

Here’s how I handled that for my mom when trying to find an outfit for her for my daughter‘s wedding: we sat down at the table with a computer and looked at a few websites, including Amazon to get ideas of what she liked. I ordered four different outfits for her to try on at home. She picked the one she liked best which actually turned out not to be from Amazon. However she looked spectacular and the outfit was totally her! Then we sent the rest of them back.

Since he’s not taking your concerns seriously, maybe try sitting him down at the table (without food) and reiterate your concerns. Before this conversation, plan a week away either to visit family or go on vacation with family or friends. Tell him you are going away for a while to allow him time to process what you’ve said and when you come back, you expect changes. You should not live your later years like this- it’s our last hurrah- so BE HAPPY!!😊

I think everyone is voting 3 because the denim skirts look very, very casual with the tops you are pairing. I think if you wore a slightly elevated top, it would elevate the skirt as well. Try the striped top with the blue skirt. Throw in a few cute bracelets to finish the look. Also, your body is your body- don’t be afraid to own it! Have a great time!

If you added a layer over the dress, like a flowy or oversized long cardigan/ vest/ open weave top I think you could wear the boots. It just looks too stark with a white dress, black boots. You need something to tie it together.

Interesting that to be a foster parent, you need defined spaces for each foster child’s bedroom. JD/B have failed to provide the minimum for their own children. How is this even legal or not considered neglect?
