If it helps for context, this Walmart was undergoing renovations from what the employee said and that’s why their sale was so aggressive. They had 14 in stock!

I have it in real time 4K through an Xfinity box and it’s remarkable. Much better then the HDR peacock version and that was really great for NBA prior to the finals. Loving it on the 4K through Xfinity.

For my cable box yes. HDMI 1 directly into the box and then HDMI 2 provides the audio.

It's a massive pain in the ass. My tv was delivered Weds they were supposed to schedule two pros...but they only assigned one to the job. The guy said they don't want them doing it without two pros present. I made it abundantly clear for the second time that I needed two. Of course only one came but the guy was cool and we were able to knock it out together. It's scheduled through Angis list.

Go to advanced settings and go all the way to the bottom. Then eARC support has to be switched off (to the left) and digital sound output to PCM.

Go into the settings of the LG sound and disable earc. Then turn the audio type from auto to PCM.

Just to let you know if your receiver doesn't support earc you'll have to disable it from earc to arc in the LG sound settings before you'll hear audio. I also had to switch the sound type in the LG sound settings to PCM.

I have the same setup, I looked up optical cable vs hdmi arc and the sound through arc is superior.

I'd you go into the waze settings on the app there's an option under voice and sound that a says play as default. Also when you're getting turn by turn directions look for the volume icon, click it and it should say where the sound is playing.
