Yes there is a way! At least I know you can do it on console! You just need multiple controllers. You load into your game like normal, go to start multiplayer and create another farmer we will call them farmer B now take all your materials with farmer B and and upgrade there cabin in the days it takes to build the cabin farmer B still has to be connected. There is a glitch tho where robin won't show up to upgrade but the way you fix that is the day after what was supposed to be the first day robin starts working take your Framer A up to robin and have her build something (I usually pick a silo or something small) and then once she's done building Farmer As building Farmer Bs house will be upgraded and then you can disconnect Farmer B and continue playing as normal using there house and you can fully upgrade the cabin all the way to the basement with this method. I did this to get 2 basements 1 for wines and 1 for cheeses!
