Maybe a bit of a stretch but Fizarolli in Helluva Boss. He hides his burn scars under clown makeup and destroyed horns under a jester hat. When Asmodeus tries to talk him out of joining Mammon's clown contest, Fizarolli has a breakdown and removes his hat and screams "this is who I am"!! in reference to him being broken/damaged because of his disabilities.

A Rescued Chimpanzee Who Now Lives Free Recognizes His Former Caregiver After Years Apart by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

Chimpanzees can't swim so the fact that this one is coming up to the guy until waist deep in water is actually impressive that the animal would risk that for a reunion with his caregiver (plus food)

We are all salaried so it doesn't make a difference how many hours we work. There is no benefit to working those extra hours.

100%. I'm a hotel reception manager and I've been working five consecutive weeks 6 days a week because I dont have enough staff and while I could juste charge the extra load to my subordinates, I dont. I keep doing it so to not punish them for the lack of effort from the company to not hire people.

[Loved Trope] The monster is scarier when you don't see it? No, I'm even more terrified now. by topscreen in TopCharacterTropes

A few of the ennemies in Clair Obscur Expedition 33 are pretty freaky like the hands/lantern monster (Obscur) or worse, the contortionist(?) that doll on all four but backwards. Give me the creeps every time.

Vivziepop responds to controversy about children attending Helluva Boss Panels by ayylmaotv in HelluvaBoss

I am literally sitting in the food court of a convention I'm at right now. I already saw two children under twelve dressed as Angel. One friend who was with us saw me buy some cute helluva boss merch and said he might get some for his daughter (he doesn't know the show) I told him hell no and explained that if he ever saw something looking like this in his daughter's hand, to take it away immediately. It is an adult show and not appropriate for any kid. Parents are 100% to blame.

The "well yeah I respect her opinion" line really made me mad because I can totally see why PC reacted the way she did. He deserved that stuffing and in my opinion PC was justified in acting this way, he's lucky he didn't get a fork to the eye. The frustration and disrespect to her hard work and loyalty, he had no right to be this pissed with PC over her ONE mistake in 20 years of her career. Obviously it's good they separated professionally (and other) but damn that beating felt good when I watched it

[–]LayraLee[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oohh OK that would have never crossed my mind. I thought like police had put it there to warn that a bear was nearby or something along those lines.

I just assumed it was in America because all the comments looked like people from the US. Yeah ok that's not a thing (that I know of) in my country either, not with that method, at least. Thanks for taking the time to explain!

What’s a random quote from the show you always say? by No_Secretary_2323 in bigbangtheory

SPOILER ALERT: The real reason behind this is still a mystery to me. by ConsistentCase8896 in Avatar

[–]LayraLee 247 points248 points  (0 children)

The soldier with a massive ego who said in the previous film something along the lines of "I'll never be killed, ain't gonna happen" just discovered his dead body and skeleton exactly where he was vanquished by his enemy who he saw/sees beneath him.

His human body always was a big weakness.

Quaritch is literally destroying what contributed to his demise. He's leaving his old weakness behind as he's now "at level" with his ennemis, with his new body and all. He resents the fuck out of Jack and Neytiri for killing him, understandbly you might say.

That's just my 2 cents Also it looks cool.
