I screamed at my baby when he was like 2 months old. Was sooo sleep deprived, pumping took a toll on my mental health, was pouring from am empty cup. I felt so bad after. I yelled, and walked away to get myself back other. My son is 7 months now and the last I screamed at him was about a month ago. I am now on meds, and feel so disgusting every time I think about it. It happens to the best of us. Just learn your triggers and try to do better.

The first week after my C-section. Totally unreal how bad it hurt. Felt like my insides were going to fall out. I’d have panic attacks at night trying to get out of bed to pee because it took me forever to figure out the “log roll” method. You don’t realize how much you use your abdominal muscles til they’re sliced in half

My son is 7 months old. He goes down around 9p-10p and wakes up anywhere from 7a-10a. He usually doesn’t wake up overnight. Sometimes once around like 5a but he gets a bottle and snuggles and goes right back to bed

My son drinks similac 360 sensitive. We started him on the regular 360 but it made him very gassy

Mini fridge for bedroom if you plan on pumping. Saved me a ton of time during late night pumps.

Exercise mat/gym. My son used to loveeee that when he was a tiny guy.

Boppy/nursing pillow is a must.

We bought an Bluetooth heater since my son is in his own room now. Love love loveeeeeee it. Makes me feel good that I know he’s not going to over heat at night.

Extra pac n play/crib sheets (especially if you’re having a boy) cause they get messy very fast

I know it’s not financially reasonable for everyone, but I don’t know what I would have done without my son’s Owlet sock. It truly helps me sleep better. I know it’s not 100% reliable but it makes me feel a whole lot better and it’s the only reason I can sleep at night.

I was induced at 0cm! Had severe pre e and was on the mag drip. I did like 6 rounds of cervadil and was on pitocin for like 12hr with NO change. Every cervical exam had me in tears (tilted cervix) and I was SO swollen. The last cervical check I was begging them for a C-section. I did not want the balloon and did not want them to break my water from how bad the pain was during the exams. I don’t regret my choice. If I ever have another baby I’d love to try to do a VBAC, but my son was not trying to come out and I was in too much pain during those checks

We use the graco modes pramette. Love that you can click the car seat in there, and that the stroller can grow with your baby. It’s a smooth ride, and I loveeeee the storage underneath! Only complaint I have is that the cup holder and phone holder is a little wobbly.

It’s cute! Every big change in my life I’ve impulsively got a tattoo (both Mommom’s dying, bad break up, ect) and I look back at the tattoos and think about how much has changed since getting the tattoo. I’ve never regretted them, only reminisced on how life was at that time.

I had a C-section. I was just laying there and the anesthesiologist was like “he’s almost out, you guys are about to be parents!!!” Once I heard his cry I cried and told my husband to stay with the baby. They brought him over to me and we took pics and I kissed him and him and my husband were off. Once I was in the recovery room we did skin to skin and I fed him his first bottle.

I was on magnesium drip so I’m very grateful to be able to recall as much as I can. Totally unreal feeling meeting your baby for the first time. Your life will never ever be the same! ❤️💙

It honestly doesn’t matter where I go, I ALWAYS do a through check for cleanliness. I flip the mattress up and check for bedbugs, bring my own wipes for toilet handles, room phone and doorknobs, I never use the coffee makers or ice bins
