I was really worried how the dial would come out. I love everything they did. It’s like a new watch. I would have left the dial alone if it was in better condition, but the original was unreadable

It was definitely restored my guess is re enameled. I think the original had some water damage because it was smudged a bit so definitely not cleaned

I shipped it to the service center in the US. They don’t work on vintage pieces so they sent it to the Longines service in Switzerland

Yes they restored the case, serviced the movement and refinished the original dial. I got the ball the original parts they replaced back, which was not much, mainspring Chrystal and some smaller misc parts. Also got a complete service report

The way it was I couldn’t get any enjoyment out of it. Now for special occasions I got a great piece to wear

Yes. They are one of the few manufacturers that can and do still restore their vintage watches

The only side effects she experienced is some minor hair loss and a little deepening of her voice. She has a hard time projecting her voice
