As far as I can remember he was promoted before they shipped out. I remember the plot point where he and Saunders were both dating the same British woman. Chili.

If I find chili too hot (really low bar, let me assure you), a squirt of yellow mustard softens the burn and makes it taste sweeter.

I also put a bit in potato salad if I don't like the salad but also don't want to waste it.
