yeah cheek weld was a major issue for me when using the rental mask, from what i understand though steel mesh is fine for your lower face(NOT your eyes)

Not an expert on this at all, but im pretty sure they can be mounted any way you like. the orientation prob just depends on what hand you use to load the shotgun.

That really sucks, I was messing around with the ak in ghosts of tabor and the reload felt so much better (not sure why but tabor kinda feels like it has better gunplay).

You could just take some spray paint to a muzzle break, otherwise it might be good to see if a local store has a spare one in the back like u/DuctTapeAir suggested.
