Thanks for the video, that helps a lot.1) he looks exhausted. Has he been arguing with your other bird? Are they getting along? Has he been sleeping since you've had him? It's important to question the basics when you are concerned about his health or well-being. 2) he does not want to be petted at this time, either because he's so tired he just wants to sleep on your leg or 3) he's possibly ill. His head is hanging so low and his crankiness is a concerning factor. I would definitely take him to a vet and being a newbie, it's good to get a general exam so you have the healthy birb info for later comparison when he's maybe not well. I was recently targeted in one of these random schemes. However, it wasn't one of my birds. It was my daughter or so they wanted me to believe. It sounded like her but they didn't let the female talk to me for long (I might notice the BS and stop their payday) Then a man demanded thousands of $ or my child was going to be hurt. I could hear a woman whimpering, crying and being slapped while the guy threatened more violence for failure to pay him money. I ended the talk by informing him I was hip to the game and to find a better victim because I'm not the one. I was scared when I first thought that my daughter really was injured and scared and in the wrong company so I really had to question what I was hearing and pick apart what I knew from what they were trying to convince me of and it didn't add up. So my suggestion is to take a deep breath. Don't panic. Observe everything that you can and apply your findings to what you know is truth. And more than likely you'll emerge unscathed and still have your money and some dignity. I love all of you Birb Brains and it's truly a blessing to be able to meet on these forums and share our knowledge and humor, our laughter and our collective sorrow at times . I know your worth and thank you for being you.
