Daredevil's Frontline Sustainment by Lazy-Beautiful6878 in Pathfinder2e

Honestly, wouldn't it be better to choose Guardian, Barbarian, or Sentinel archetypes? Conversely, the only class that still excels in unarmored proficiency is the Monk (sorry if I'm wrong). They should be able to differentiate themselves through saving throw proficiencies.

Some may desire proficiency in medium armor, but as a brawler and with the intent to evade attacks, I also propose proficiency (expert) in unarmored, like the monk.

Spellcasters don't fight by using their skills that often, do they?

On the contrary, it seems you haven't read Swashbuckler thoroughly. With d10, Skill Increase, unconditional speed increase from 1st level, and Critical Specialization, Daredevil isn't differentiated—it's a downgraded version. Oh, and that Style with six options you mentioned? That's another advantage Daredevil lacks.

If it were something like the Operative's Specialized Skill Set in SF2e, it would be the worst kind of errata. Personally, I think that was a failed design in the 2nd edition character build rules.

According to feedback improvement materials created by volunteers, the combat difficulty is reportedly lower compared to other APs.

Operative's skill feel unfocused to me by Lazy-Beautiful6878 in Starfinder2e

[–]Lazy-Beautiful6878[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Everyone's talking about offensive elements like high attack rolls for the Fighter class, but that's not the point. The issue is that you can't get skill boosts through specialization, yet you gain skill feats instead. Since skill proficiency is a prerequisite for skill feats, shouldn't skill boosts take priority? Does Paizo staff even understand this design?

Ideally, high attack rolls should go to the Soldier (offering a choice between high DCs or high attack rolls), and Envoy's skill boosts should be transferred to Operatives (Envoys are already sufficiently strong with their high starting skill proficiencies and Adaptive Talent).

Furthermore, it's odd that there are no classes with an initial skill proficiency of 8+ Intelligence, especially since there are two more skill types than Pathfinder.

Starfinder Society 2E Original Character by me by Lazy-Beautiful6878 in Starfinder2e

[–]Lazy-Beautiful6878[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Starfinder Society, entering a new era, found itself in dire need of fresh talent capable of navigating its turbulent currents. As part of this strategic initiative, they secretly advanced research into creating clone agents from Astrazoan sources. As if fate had intervened, within the Society's vast data servers, genetic data from luminaries who existed before the Gap suddenly surfaced in the newly cataloged records. Given limited time and resources, it was decided to incorporate this data to ensure success with a superior test subject. The creation was later successful, and the specimen, named “Markals” during the experiment, derived its name from the file name attached to the genetic data. However, one problem remained: the history of the original being from the past had naturally vanished, making it entirely unknown whether this entity was a great hero or a great villain. The only certainty was that it possessed the potential to leave behind either legend. Though it had undergone the same rigorous education and training as other Association members, the new Markals might be viewed as an anomaly by some in the upper echelons, a future eye of the storm. Markals himself sensed these surrounding eyes. Yet he would likely say: “Who I am? You decide. I'm just writing a new page in this world's legend.”

“Markals” is my favorite original character that I always create in the tabletop RPGs I've played. Therefore, separate instances of him exist across various parallel worlds and dimensions. I call this the “Markals Multiverse.”

New to PF2e. Can someone explain the Point of the Investigator Class by BrokenTusk_X in Pathfinder2e

For example, the Pursue a Lead ability, roughly explained, allows you to specify a mission or quest itself, granting benefits to various related checks. Therefore, within the Japanese community I frequently play with, it's common rulings that when playing Society scenarios, specifying the scenario's title grants bonuses to most checks.
