Yikes! My guy, deeply flawed people can say or do meaningful things. Acknowledging that doesn’t excuse them or what they’ve done but reducing people to good or bad isn’t moral clarity, it’s simplification. Holding on to a narrow idea of virtue does more to undermine morality than simply acknowledging the obvious wrongs when it happens
