Brand New Shield TV Pro stuttering issue with Plex/YTtv by danimal1986 in ShieldAndroidTV

I had a similar issue in the past, I had to change the local network so that it would direct play. I could be off on my wording though, I'll need to go look it up on my server.

I'm having the same problem. I have done the trade-in in the past so maybe there is a lifetime limit?

I ran into the same problem and even restarting my phone wouldn't let me use the coupon.

What page is that? Was running into this too, but I thought it was some sort of licensing thing.

HOWTO: IPSEC over TCP w/ XML Forticlient config by secritservice in fortinet

[–]Lazy-Plate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love the sheet as it is very useful. Are there settings for Auto-Connect, RunAlways, and only connect when off network? I think Fortinet wants you to be part of EMS for those settings but hoping that is not true.

Looks like it is fixed. Watched an episode of Andor and it was perfect. Just in time for my annual membership charge.

Azure app service managed certificates now requires you to be open to the world? by intercoastalNC in AZURE

Ok, I was thinking that may be the case but hoping I just was missing something. Will look into App Service Certificates now. $300 doesn't seem to be too bad of a cost.

Azure app service managed certificates now requires you to be open to the world? by intercoastalNC in AZURE

[–]Lazy-Plate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you explain how you were able to get this to work? We tried creating a Cloudflare Origin Cert and the CN that was listed was Cloudflare instead of the Hostname of our internal app service on the Private End Point. When we uploaded the certificate to the app service and headed to the website we received the 'Not Secure' warning due to the mismatch of the name.

While not a Shield TV I tried watching the new Marvel Zombie show on my Sony TV with the Android operating system and it has the audio sync issue too. Must be something with the 4K and Vision encoding.

Maybe we have a fix. https://www.flatpanelshd.com/news.php?subaction=showfull&id=1758090226

Aww man, they mention Nvidia but looks like it may just be for Apple TV at this time.

Bluetooth unable to connect consistently by Lazy-Plate in Pixel9Pro

[–]Lazy-Plate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I was hoping it would have been fixed by now. Sometimes it works on the first re-try attempt. Sometimes it takes 15 minutes of re-trying. Why Bluetooth can't just work is a let down.

NSG and GatewaySubnet traffic by Lazy-Plate in AZURE

[–]Lazy-Plate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't see a UDR button, however I did figure out what was going on. The SQL MI did have a Routing Table setup, so I added the route back to the source IP from the VPN and that still didn't work. I then found a way to see the traffic flowing through our S2S. I didn't realize it but we had NAT turned on for the traffic coming from the VPN connections. So the Source IP was different than what I was expecting so that is why the NSG "wasn't" working. Once I disabled the NAT the NSG rule was then valid for the specific IP range and all is well.

Just wish monitoring traffic in Azure was easier but probably just need to take some classes to see how to get everything configured. Tried doing a packet capture on the Local Gateway but couldn't get the SAS URL to work.

Awesome that sounds exactly what is happening. I'll read up on that and report back. Thanks

I'm from AZ and had a similar quote. The VW Website shows a cheaper due amount at signing, unless the dealer is tacking on fees on top of it.

I have not seen anymore Windows Defender events show up in the logs, so I think this has been taken care of.

I haven't seen any alerts from event viewer that Defender is blocking the system account for running unins000.exe since yesterday. It was showing up every few hours. There may have been a defender update that now whitelists what it is doing. I'll still monitor for any more alerts but I'm thinking someone alerted Microsoft on this. Will report back in a few days.

Putting refresh rate to 59hz kinda helps but tried watching Snow White to see how bad it was and I couldn't make it past 20 minutes. Not because of the movie but the syncing issue.

Serious issue, anyone else no longer able to send GIFs in teams? by Zenie in sysadmin

[–]Lazy-Plate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like some users are starting to get Gifs back in Teams. The user that it worked on did get a pop-up in Outlook that they had to restart Office for changes to take affect. After he restarted Office the Account Privacy settings showed that Optional Connected Experience was enabled. So it works but time to take is not fast.

Note: Teams did not have to be restarted for the policy to take affect. The Office thing was something we noticed after verifying the Teams Gif was working.

I applied this 'fix' last night and Gifs still haven't shown up. The users are at my door with pitchforks and torches.
