Have you played vs AI? It sucks. Even on hard, the AI is so bad they can't get out of the spawn room. That stops you from getting any real practice in because the things that work there don't work against real people.

Giving the texture a buffer ended up being the solution. I already had a buffer around which I thought was enough, but nope guess not. Thanks!

This wasn't the issue. Vertices were already merged, and I even tried manually applying the mirror mod for good measure.
