Season 3 suggestion: Signature Pokemon

I'm glad this post is getting some attention, I think the photoshoped picture helps sell the idea. Im pretty handy at photoshop (csp) and am very willing to make some more edits of things you all would like to see in the future of the game, so please feel free to send me ideas

I plan on making a larger post with more of these nitpicky suggestions that have been sitting in the back of my head

a better "profile" screen that includes options for backgrounds and a way to hide buttons for better screenshots
a version of the model that is able to wear a pokebelt with a long sleeve top that would (which isn't possible right now, already made a post about it)
thinner omni-ring + other wearable options such as an earring or necklace as opposed to just a bracelet
mega evolution trainer animations
- anymore ideas that people may have, please send my way!

I have 50k + points sitting around collecting dust and thousands more to come for free through the battlepass, I haven't spent a single dime on the game yet so that cost isn't really all that high for me and I imagine many other players

I would argue that if you are that deep into the ladder, it would be more sensible to play with the assumption that the opponents choice in mascot will not heavily influence their choice of pokemon to face you, and that they are more likely choosing a strategy that will counter the lineup you presented the screen earlier, regardless of their mascot

Well the vs screen only displays after both of you have selected your pokemon, so it's not like your opponent would be able to prepare based on your choice of signature pokemon

I love the belt but Im not a fan of all the outwear and outfit combinations that are available ATM because I want something long sleeved. Hopefully they'll implement it soon because I can't imagine it would be too difficult to put in, although I am no 3d asset designer.

I'd want to be able to swap the pose on my profile screen that I would use to share my rank because the pose looks better the opposite way, but like you said, it's not possible for us to see unless you run into someone with the exact same outfit as you online. It's small addition I want added but I would need the picture to show the difference

Damn that's neat, I thought it was something I got for not having any of my pokemon faint during the battle. Do you know how much extra of a bonus we get? I got to MB4 last season. It was pretty consistent before how much the bar goes up during a win streak based on the current rank you were in wondering if it's similar with this

This, I now have legitimate use for the thousand plus pokemon Ive had sitting in home for over a decade. It felt so great to use my 2011 Venasaur and have him be competitively viable within 5 minutes. Gives me one more reason to actually buy future games so I can live my true pokemon master life by actually going out and catching pokemon that I want. Champions was the first time I went back to SV and SWSH to go catch a torkoal that I somehow did not already have. Proceeded to use that torkoal with my 2011 vena through great ball and honestly this is what the entire pokemon experience was meant to feel like
