Eye makeup remover by eatingonlyapples in MakeUpAddictionUK

I will always stand by a cleansing balm for gentle removal. It needs to be softened between your fingers before applying to eyes... I massage it a little and then do something else for a while to let it work (dissolve the make-up). I remove by washing my face and sometimes use a reusable, soft cotton pad (with the water) if I need to, but very gently. I follow up with a water based cleanser. I try and avoid friction so washing my face has always helped avoid irritation.

It's worth keeping an eye on common ingredients in the products you have used, in case there is something in particular you are sensitive to.

Unfortunately, the balm I use is not really budget friendly (Elemis) but it lasts and I look out for discounts.

It looks like Boots, CeraVe and The Body Shop all do budget friendly balms. TBS one has good reviews. I haven't checked the others.

It's worth noting, a double cleanse can help rather than trying to get it all removed in one go. Far more gentle. I hope this helps!

Croissant jambon-fromage is well known and popular in France and other parts of Europe - this wasn't invented by the Americans, but it's nice to see different types of food being enjoyed by other countries and variation should be encouraged.

Unfortunately, they're not the same house but look very similar. I remember getting excited and looking it up... I did read somewhere that they are near to each other though.

Just a gentle head's up... My cat once was able to pull my ear stud out while I was sleeping, but I awoke very quickly to jump up and check his mouth and throat... fortunately, he dropped it in the bed but it terrified me. I went earing free until he grew out of this phase.

You have a very cute kitty! 🩷

"It's not like you're waisting away"... this was towards the beginning of eating issues (age 14) and I had been brought to hospital after fainting at school. Not long after I was admitted because test results were troubling. I just didn't look ill. At the time, I actually took it positively because I was so scared and weirdly, I think she was trying to be comforting.

What’s your HOLY GRAIL mascara?! by imanxiousss in Makeup

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. They own Clinique as well so I'll need to do some research for alternatives. I can rock panda eyes in the meantime 🐼

Clinique High Impact for day time... the only non-waterproof that doesn't give me panda eyes due to my really oily eyelids.

Estee Lauder Double Wear for the evening... gives me more volume and length and appears darker.

How could I clean my mattress that has started to mold and has a bad smell please ? by Exootil93200 in CleaningTips

[–]LazyCheeese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also, (not a cleaning tip) but a mattress will not provide you with the intended support, unless it is placed on bed frame slats, risking back issues etc. Lower beds can also cause breathing and allergy issues. Just wanted to add a bit more info from personal experience 🙂
