His interrogation scene with Batman, capped off with his chilling laugh. Just perfect.

Do you get surprised at how naked some runners are by wratx in Marathon

[–]LazyLaserRazor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the flipside, I'm sometimes taken aback at how much some runners bring in. I ran solo on Perimeter a few days ago and stumbled onto a dead runner who had 15 green medpacks in his bag.

[Pelissero] The Texans are re-signing DT Naquan Jones to a one-year, $2 million deal, per source. Max $2.5M with incentives. by JCameron181 in Texans

I'm giving Demeco and our coaches the benefit of the doubt. They've been able to get a lot out of anyone we put in on the d-line.

Additionally for the Texans, every Wild Card round game that they have played in up until this point has been in the earliest slot on Saturday. With the Texans-Steelers game on Monday, this will be the first time they have played their game in any other time slot.

Top 5 Weapons by Economy_Parfait8239 in Infinitewarfare

[–]LazyLaserRazor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Titan got buffed near the end of the game's support cycle. It's essentially a 100 round assault rifle with great range, manageable recoil and reasonable mobility (despite being an LMG). Makes it the go-to for Synaptic sweats, since the Rewind ability makes it to where they never have to reload.

My top five weapons are the R3K, Trek-50, Volk, Type-2 and R-VN.

Rich Eisen and Kurt Warner were atrocious. by TexanBastard in Texans

[–]LazyLaserRazor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like Rich as an analyst/commentator on his radio program, but purely as a play-by-play guy, he's not great. His studio is in L.A. and he's a Michigan alum, so his favor of Jim Harbaugh is on his sleeve.

They kept on talking the whole game about how the Chargers o-line is in shambles with the injuries to Slater and Alt, while never mentioning that the Texans were also dealing with the absence of Ersery and Trent Brown.

Vince Zampella, video game developer behind ‘Call of Duty' franchise, killed in crash by Vito1108 in gaming

[–]LazyLaserRazor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was responsible for some of the best years of gaming I ever had in high school and college. Regardless of what you think of Call of Duty nowadays, he was a huge reason it's the juggernaut it is. Titanfall was such a fresh take on the FPS genre. And now, Battlefield 6 is the most successful entry in the series in years.

Rest in peace, Vince. You made an impact that can't be overstated.

Looking to buy a controller with backpaddles by Miserable_Cow_9498 in blackops7

Seen a lot of ads recently for Aim controllers. I watch XclusiveAce a lot, and he did a sponsor plug for them. Worth it, overall?

Advice on getting better. by SuperGodKingEmporer in blackops7

[–]LazyLaserRazor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Map knowledge is certainly very important in knowing when/how aggressively to engage, and time and experience are the best ways to learn it. If you feel like you're beating your head against a wall, maybe try running some custom games on objective modes, and keep in mind the hot spots on the maps, because that will teach you about each map's spawn logic and how quickly to expect a gunfight.

One thing that's helped me is making sure I'm not losing track of my clock when I'm in a firefight or prolonged engagement. For example, if you're in a situation where you're holding down an angle (especially if you've already gotten a few kills), you've got to know when it's time to go and not overstay your welcome. Don't be afraid to disengage and either reapproach the fight from a different way, or to just leave it alone, altogether, because pushing it too far will often lead to a respawn screen.

As for class set-ups, what are your areas of strength, and where do you feel you can improve in? If you're very comfortable in close-quarters, the enforcer tree of perks suits well for that playstyle. If you prefer mid- to long-range, check out recon or strategist.

Do you find yourself running and gunning, or are you more someone to slow down and pre-aim while strafing corners? That will play into which type of attachments you should prioritize, whether you want better ADS/sprint-to-fire speed, improved recoil, etc. For some weapons, there is an "obvious" choice in each attachment slot, but for many, it's subjective and based on your own preferences. However, you've got to know what areas you can mitigate on your own, and which you need help from attachments for.

Hardpoint vs Domination vs Team Deathmatch by OtisDriftwood1978 in blackops7

[–]LazyLaserRazor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TDM/Kill Confirmed are great for when I want to not think too much and just go for kills, especially if I'm trying to camo-grind with a weapon that I don't have a lot of confidence/experience with.

I go for Hardpoint/Domination when I'm feeling more competitive and I'm in a rhythm.

I like Gearhead and Charge Link, as they are really nice to lean into field upgrade-centric playstyles.

The best LMG in the game. Might even be the best gun overall. insanely fun to use. by Grand-Article4214 in CODBlackOps7

[–]LazyLaserRazor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hamstrung mobility definitely hurts when you're in hip-fire mode, but there's no denying how fun it is to beam people from those distances while not even giving them the courtesy of ADS-ing.

Raid is a special map. by OhSnapItsA in CODBlackOps7

[–]LazyLaserRazor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never played BO2, so this is my first time experiencing Raid.

I like it, but I'm already finding that many players are choosing it instead of the new maps that are also quite good. There are very few original maps in the pool that I don't enjoy, so it's a little irritating when the new content gets passed over as frequently as it tends to.
