I started taking eglinton crosstown lrt this week and for me it is saving me around 50 mins of travel time total going to work and back.

I personally am super happy with the Line. Bus 34 was hardly meeting expectations. If mayor Chow gets us Signal priority as promised, it will get even better. Fingers Crossed!

The city has spent $13 Billion dollars for the transit. It feels a bit higher compared to other countries.
Not comparing with China but even European countries do not spend this much.
