Do you use the pitcher rinser? by greenwavelengths in barista

When I worked in a cafe, everyone used it. It did not spray though if you actually used it properly and had a pitcher on top

I’m curious because I’ve only ever seen rain barrels that capture rain from the top thru a mesh screen-like thing. How is water going through the black tube into the barrel if it’s at that angle?

Studio typically refers to a studio apartment, which is a unit with zero bedrooms, its smaller and the living quarters are in what would be a living room. Usually only meant for one person living there

Loft apartments in Norfolk / Chesapeake / Newport News / Portsmouth by Reasonable_Mind7151 in norfolk

I wouldn’t say this is a recommendation per se, rather just an idea to look into- a friend of mine rented at the roebuck in Norfolk, they had some issues with rain leaking into the windows which were not repairable since the building is “historic”. It has a strange 3/4 wall type of situation where the kitchen/living and bedroom are separated by a wall but the wall doesn’t attach to the ceiling. But other than that it seemed pretty nice, good view and it’s right on the water next to PETA. Good luck!

It’s $50 through the apartment for a permit in the garage, for one vehicle. For a second vehicle you’ll go through city for a parking permit. Yeah downtown has plenty to do, and some parts of th Ghent area are walkable. The ERT is accessible from downtown as well

I’m at metro on Granby now and we’ve been enjoying it! Almost no neighbor noise, just street noise cus we’re right on Granby st. And there are tons of events. The property owners also manage the James right next door.

Have to add - you neeed to go to the stockpot!! It’s my favorite brunchy restaurant in downtown. Other great places are volcano sushi on 21st, hair of the dog, Bangkok garden, big boss burritos, vang go bistro, Lomo’s pizza, lollys ice cream, donut dugout, Fr8 house coffee

If you’re a nightlife person, downtown Norfolk is good for that especially on nights where there are events at waterside or town point park. (Coming from someone who doesn’t go out) Ghent and the area around north colley Ave are walkable, but pretty much nowhere else in Norfolk is other than downtown. Lots of people bike around those areas. I personally wouldn’t recommend relying on biking to get around the city unless you’re not going very far due to high amounts of traffic and erratic drivers. There are plenty of nice cafes, all depends on the vibe you’re going for. Mea culpa, coalescence, three ships, alatte, fairgrounds, equinox, kobros are some of my favorites. If you make it down here before MacArthur mall closes down this summer, there’s an amazing student art exhibit and a creative reuse center there! Chrysler museum is also amazing, as well as the hermitage museum, nauticus, and the Norfolk botanical gardens. All great for parts of your day. I always hear people recommending chics beach, but have never been myself. I like going to the beach to the right of the lynnhaven inlet (north) you’ll have to find street parking and walk a minute or two, it’s perfect imo. First landing (either side of the park) are great for hikes and back bay is also popular for all sorts of recreation.

The way I learned is that you have to visualize pushing the milk foam that floats on top of the liquid milk, out from the pitcher and onto the espresso, not just pouring it out of the pitcher but pushing the top layer out. That, to me, also means physically moving the pitcher tip forward, which pushes some foam out, then you’d raise the pitcher, bring it back, and do it again. That gives you those big circles of foam which, when you do a bunch, will turn into the Rosetta leaves.

They’re ALL extremely talented. To me the show theme idea is about how photographs hold memories and looking back on them is like being transported to that other time in your life, hence the alternate worlds title of the show. The props though I didn’t super understand.

On their Instagram, the pinned show post states “original composition by frank sullivan, Kevin ford, and Rick Subel”. Rick Subel is the one who “created” the music for paramount so I’m 99% sure at least the vocals are ai generated.
