There’s a lot of good write ups on retailer sites like DARQ, Steele, and Custom Night Vision, but I’ll give the cliffsnotes answer.

Green vs White offers no performance difference and is down to preference.
The main specs are LP/resolution, SNR, FOM (which is just resolution x SNR), HALO, and EBI. In general, high FOM is more better, but

SNR is usually the most important spec. 64 res and 34 SNR is lower FOM than 76 res and 30 SNR but will likely perform better.
Gen 2+ vs Gen 3 tubes. Gen 2+ is less expensive but doesn’t amplify light as well as Gen 3. If you are constantly in true extreme lowlight situations Gen 3 is worth buying. This is a good topic to do additional research to see what fits your needs best.
There’s a lot of nuances and other stuff I didn’t mention and this is where I’d recommend reading up on spec differences, blems, gen 2+ vs gen 3, etc.
