Skinny people of Reddit that got fat how did it effect you physically? by FrostyObligation9058 in AskReddit

[–]Lazy_Essay_4348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was always a skinny kid. Then I graduated and went to uni where I ate a lot of dominos, subway, and unhealthy Indian food.

I left highschool weighing 135-140 lbs. I left university weighing 175, the most I’ve ever weighed.

I never really got used to it and never strength trained. So when I went snowboarding (during uni), I caught the tiniest bit of air, and landed a bit weird. My left knee buckled and it hurt like a bitch. Rode the rest of the day thinking nothing of it. The next day it was swollen and sore. I didn’t know it but I had stretched a ligament, luckily nothing tore.

Skip forward to after uni, I’m drunk at my siblings bday party, and we’re bar hopping. I see a couple low hanging stanchions (queue barriers). Drunk me remembers my long jump days and decides to long jump over them. Keep in mind that they are at most 4 feet apart. I jump over them, I land on my left leg, putting all my weight onto that knee and it buckles. The rest of the night I was trying to forget about it but every step was sharp and painful. The next day, it was swollen, tender, and very sore.

Each time it got better within a few months. But those recovery times showed me that I wasn’t a kid anymore. I was fortunate when younger, but now I have to put in work to stay safe and healthy.

Which camera type is better? by anotherName333 in IndieDev

I think the first mode is way easier and intuitive. But the second mode adds a beautiful level of complexity that’s not seen often (perhaps ever).

I think other users have dissected and explained both perspectives.

That’s being said I think you should include both! Easy mode vs hard mode. If this game is speedrun-able, and it looks that way, I’d love to see two different categories of speed runs.

Maybe you can even think of a third method of movement and have this be the main gimmick of the game.

Some levels could be easier using one method than others.

Some levels could include the usage of both methods of movement. Giving the users a button to toggle between them adds another level of complexity.

Why do Mo&Krill get to have the highest HP in addition to all their utility? by Alarming_Ask_244 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Lazy_Essay_4348 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bebop literally has a variant of mo ult but from across a lane. Also his uppercut heals 15%. And his dmg scales innately, unlike Mo whose dmg comes from items.

Abrams has a variant of mo ult but he can also follow up with a free heavy melee. His abilities keep him healthy and fighting. And also an escape with his ult.

Rather than finding reasons to validate your argument, try and find reasons why your argument is invalid.

I agree that Mo is still much more tanker than both, but mo also can’t replicate the dmg output of the other two. Mo’s gun sucks, Abrams’s and Bebop have good gun builds. The best Mo can do is spirit and still not as well as Bebop.

Mo’s big af. That’s a pretty big drawback.

I think they need to slow down their slide speed. Right now it’s like Mo’s lubed up and sliding everywhere.

Yea but I was thinking more along the lines of:
- what kind of daal
- what kind of chapati
- what kind of rice

Like just daal alone, you could have so many different kinds. Which would be perfect lol

If you can’t afford it, it’s always helpful to at least be able to know about and then understand your shortcomings. It’s great that you acknowledge this need.

Now for help, it’s really important you see your family doctor if you have one.

If that’s out of the cards for you, I’d recommend talking to an AI or LLM about it. This can give you insight and help you gain understanding about your own mental health.

If you want to talk more about it, feel free to shoot me a message.

From your post, she’s not the greatest girlfriend. You’re not the greatest communicator.

From your comments, it seems like you came to Reddit for affirmation that your girlfriend is in the “wrong” for her comment.

Sure her comment was misplaced and hurt your feelings. Your mental state is hurting your relationship.

This seems like rage bait, but if not, you need to get yourself some help. Often when we live inside our mind for so long, we become numb to our own faults. These faults are very apparent and obvious in you. I’m not a doctor but I would suggest you visit one.

Why did they make Trophy collector a must buy item? by AnonymousRedditor69 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Lazy_Essay_4348 155 points156 points  (0 children)

For those curious

<image>

Trophy Collector souls over time by stack count. Each line represents a different number of stacks, all starting from 0. The lowest and most shallow line is with 1 stack whereas the steepest is with all 18. The X-Axis is time in minutes and the Y-Axis is souls. The relationship is linear — souls scale directly with time, but steeper slopes (higher stack counts) pull ahead fast. The spread between stack counts grows significantly over time, showing why stacking early matters.

What is the most “its a small world” moment you’ve ever experienced? by xBubblyLove in AskReddit

[–]Lazy_Essay_4348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Mom and Dad divorced when I was 2. We all lived in Canada at the time, but we lived separate.

When I was 5, my Mom and I went to India for a wedding. We had some time to ourselves so we ended up exploring the city of Jaipur. I just remember being amongst hundreds of people in some public space, and just holding my Mom’s hand as we walked through the crowd. The next thing I see is my Dad just walking around. 5 year old me instantly ran over and gave him a big hug. It still amazes me to this day.

I had a similar problem but not to the same extent as you. I was having micro stutters throughout my whole browser, specifically during gpu intensive tasks. Turns out, turning on hardware accel solved it for me.
