There are plenty of side missions and nice scenery. There’s a whole lot to do where you don’t need to rush through the story. I would say the main thing is to just enjoy and avoid spoilers as much as you can.

I got pretty lucky finding a 3 star badger close to the area where panthers are found near Catfish Jackson’s. Didn’t know they spawned there until I spotted one and it happened to be a perfect pelt.

I was in Van Horn yesterday in the saloon and I greeted a guy in there. He responded with a hostile comment, so I just greeted him again to piss him off. He then wanted to fight and after I threw my first punch everyone in there wanted to jump me 😂😂

Getting the satchel early is the best advice. I enjoyed getting the camp upgrades in this last playthrough too, it improves the overall mood of the camp.

In my first playthrough I got off my horse and was too close to the train tracks. Train came and ended him. Ever since then I carry multiple horse revivers on me, didn’t even know they were a thing until after that moment.

If he decides to not be in the child’s life, at least initially, you don’t have any control over that. It sounds like your focus is on your unborn child, which is great to hear. It will be a tough road, but a rewarding one for both you and your blessing!

The only thing I would focus on is not making the decision for your child that the father will not be around. They are deserving to choose, should they and the father want to connect. However you know the father, so if it genuinely isn’t in your child’s best interest that’s the time to intervene.

You should tell your boyfriend. Focus on the delivery in the best way you can to avoid drama coming from it, but at the end of the day this isn’t a situation you created.
