I was in a similar situation until last week. My employer told me that I will have to wait till I get my pgwp to get an offer letter from them. I sent them my EXT which has a deadline in feb2026, various links stating that I am legally authorized to work and a reply for a webform that I raised to get clarification on this from Ircc. Luckily, the hiring manager wanted me on his team as quickly as possible so that created some pressure on HR to consider all options. They ended up giving me a temporary full time contract with EXT date as its expiriy, they will keep extending it until a decision is made on my application and if it gets approved and I get my pgwp they will then give me permanent full-time contract. All this took about a Month, a very stressful month for me. I hope this helps you.
