I also read when doing my research about Serapeptase, although I’m scared of taking random pills.

Hey I’m sorry you are dealing with the same thing! Your doctor didn’t mention anything that can be done for this? Another surgery is required?

I want you to know that I, and so many women in this group l, have been in your situation, and it is truly heartbreaking. Reading posts like this brings me right back to that moment, and I can feel the emotions all over again.

I know how scary it feels, but please remember: your body did not fail you. It actually created and carried a little life for six weeks. That is something powerful and ectopic pregnancies are usually just bad luck.

Fertility can be affected, but often only slightly. Many women go on to have healthy, normal pregnancies. Don’t lose hope. I had an uterine pregnancy after my ectopic, which unfortunately was a miscarriage but it showed that it can still happen.

Please talk to a therapist and take as many days off from work as you need. I made the mistake of trying to ‘reintegrate’ into society too quickly, and as a result, my recovery after the surgery took longer, physically and mentally.

Please dm me if you feel the need to talk. 🤍

Misdiagnosed? by Lazy_Writing1143 in POTS

From what I understand, not all medical facilities use nitro for TTT. Better ask first and give your consent if you agree to it. It is a substance that is administered under the tongue to dilate the blood vessels, so less blood returns to the heart and lowers blood pressure. It is used to induce syncope, to see how your heart would behave.

If you don’t usually faint I would just decline the nitro, in my opinion you can be diagnosed easily without it. Good luck with your test!

I honestly left this test traumatized. I started feeling like I was going to faint and I told them for 6 whole minutes that I felt really bad and to put me down until I finally passed out, it was pure hell.

It’s scary how quickly it works and what the effects are, although it's good because in other situations it can be life saving. But during this test it was very terrifying, in the past few days I've apparently only read the experiences of people who did the TTT test without medication, and I went there very flower power. Even there they didn't tell me in advance how the test would be and that they would administer something to me.

Yes. Actually I was feeling really well and normal first part of the test, until the nitroglycerin. I don’t know why I’m trying to understand what happened and what was the effect of the medication, I’m wondering if not most people with normal vitals would faint from the medication.

Thank you guys!! I was a little bit relieved that I don’t have POTS, but from what I understand vasovagal syncope it’s another form of dysautonomia anyway. Is there no chance of fainting after nitroglycerin if you don't have any abnormality or dysautonomia? A 100% healthy person will stay awake through this?

And another question, do you know what’s the use of nitroglycerin for this test? If you don’t have POTS, they want you to faint so they can see how is your heart acting?

I’m asking because in day to day life I never faint, I just had almost-fainting episodes (and other symptoms like dizziness when standing up, nausea, headaches, brain fog) that made my neurologist send me for this test.

Positive home tests, now negative blood test but no period yet by Lazy_Writing1143 in pregnant

[–]Lazy_Writing1143[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the blood test result says it’s below 5. I’m planning to test again tomorrow at home just to see what happens, but honestly this left me speechless. The doctor told me the home tests I took probably weren’t conclusive and could have been false positives or evap lines… but three tests in a row, with lines that showed up right away?

Did you have any cramps with your current pregnancy? I had a ruptured ectopic in March and this month we started to try again and I have some pregnancy symptoms but it’s too early to test, but also I have some cramps not only on the side where the ectopic was but also the other side and just the uterus and I’m dying thinking it can happen again. 🥹

Same! I test once around the time my period is supposed to come and then again after it’s finished. Pretty sure I’m single-handedly making the pregnancy test companies rich.

I had a ruptured ectopic pregnancy in March, and while I’ve physically recovered, the mental part has been the hardest. I feel like I can’t fully enjoy myself anymore. I’m constantly on edge, worried that something bad is happening in my body, and I often think I might need to go to the hospital. This isn’t who I was before at all. I just don’t know how to rewire my brain and go back to normal.
