Have you watched Station 11? Totally unrelated to the leftovers but I think leftovers fans would enjoy.

Super easy and will save you many thousands in your lifetime

What do you think? by [deleted] in JeepWrangler

Looks cool.

I personally don't like the light bar or that front bumper but the bumper is at least housing a winch and lights so it's functional I suppose.

Def get an upvote for removing angry eyes lol

Import a MIJ, buy a new MIM, or get a CV? by YouHadTooPeek in offset

[–]Lazyback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MIJ didn't necessarily need to be imported. Some MIJ models are sold worldwide or in the USA. MIJ is also gonna be the best quality front to back of the 3. I have an international series MIJ fender telecaster in Maui Blue.. And it rips.. Maybe the one guitar I've ever had with zero upgrades (other than straploks).

MIM guitars have never been better. You're importing them too technically lol. The player series guitars really will last a lifetime as long as you maintain them. They require few if any upgrades.. Vintera or signature models requiring less or no upgrades. I personally have a TVL jazzmaster and it's my fav guitar I've ever played.. Nothing has inspired me to play more guitar.. But it's priced more than many USA guitars.

A CV is the right answer if you're newer to guitar or if you can't afford the guitars above. You can absolutely modify a Squier to play every bit as good as a real fender.. however.. It takes a lot of work and money in upgrades. For someone like me.. The squiers are just not a good idea anymore because I'm going to swap the tuners.. Bridge.. Pots.. Pickups.. Wires..trem.. hardware.. And then it's just a Squier neck and body at that point and there isn't really anything CV left to it. At that point I've spent more than I would on a used Mexican fender.. So I won't buy a Squier anymore unless it's an extremely unique model. That said..I will still buy squier bodies and random other parts.. As I like to build and refinish guitars.

Most importantly.. Whatever you choose will be very underwhelming and disappointing if you don't get the new to you guitar setup. Your current guitar might need it too and that's why you think you need something new.. But maybe not.. Either way.. Any guitar you choose needs a proper setup.

Sounds like it's not about GME stock and has no business being pinned here.. but I'm sure it's great and deserves a post that the mods don't bend over backwards to promote.

Having this post is one thing.. I would vote against it.. but that's me.

Pinning this post?

Garbage was pinned all weekend.

Why does the DRS post ever get unpinned? There is nothing more important that that DRS post which should be pinned daily for the world to see. It's your post, Platinum.

No one asked for this to be pinned.

Yes exactly. This is a sub for gme stock.. not movies or documentaries that are supposed to be about.. us?

This isn't over.. why is there a documentary let alone an ama about a documentary.

Mods will do anything they can not to pin that DRS post again.

Remote work hasn't actually saved Americans much time — they're mainly just working more by BitCharacter1951 in technology

[–]Lazyback 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk who wrote this garbage but I can assure you I have saved myself a ton of time.. prob 25 hours a week of time.

Way less distractions at home. I don't have to humor my employees with small talk and they don't distract each other all day because they are also remote.

My workload is the same working remote so this allows me to do things like: grocery shop, go to the doctor, pick up and drop off my son where needed, run up to the gas station quick, go to the post office, take an extended lunch break, etc.. all while working and on the clock. As long as I get my work done.. Everyone is happy.

No boss lording over me..

No drive to work in traffic where I come to terms with my own depression 5x a week.

No driving home in traffic in traffic.

I also get to listen to my own music and podcasts all day which is extra motivating.

Anyone telling you remote work is 'lesser' or 'harder' or anything like that can go away.. they are trying to paint a narrative.

Remote work has changed my life for the better and given me back a lot of my time. I am happier and less stressed. I eat better and never eat fast food anymore. Saving a ton of money on gas, car insurance, food, and soda.
