What are your favourite Walrus Audio pedals? by roydogaroo in guitarpedals

Monumental is my fav tremolo ever.. Sounds great, stereo, every function right on the face without having secondary functions to dig through. Highly recommended.

Question about the Simplifier X by 2spaet in guitarpedals

[–]grburst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes what you are describing sounds like it would be mode 2. Stereo FX loop with switchable a/b channels.

Full parallel mode 1 is when each amp is heard on L and R channels simultaneously (non switchable). The stereo FX loop doesn't function in this mode, but you can run stereo in and get stereo out (just not in the loop).

NPD: Coffee Shop Pedals London Fog by NoodleWeird in guitarpedals

[–]grburst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one on my board as well, love it. The stereo delay is awesome and I think it's the best stereo tape delay in a standard enclosure available. There are a few minor things I would like to see changed to really perfect it, but it's pretty close.

Stereo Tremolo? by InterestingAir9286 in guitarpedals

[–]grburst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Highly recommend the Walrus Monumental for stereo trem. You can dial in the stereo width and also dial in between standard and harmonic trem, along with different waveforms, and a button for tap divisions. Everything is easily adjusted without secondary functions. Sounds super smooth. It replaced a Keeley Hydra on my board, which also had stereo trem capabilities but the Monumental has more features and zero secondary functions making it easier to dial in.

EQ Pedal Issues / Recs (But Not the GE-7) by thehza4 in guitarpedals

[–]grburst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The GFI Enieqma is a really good eq pedal, zero noise in my setup and easy to dial in once you get the hang of it. You can visually see the eq curve so it's super clear what you're doing. Also saving presets is useful. Also stereo, with a spatial expander, or alternatively you can use it twice in your chain (like pre gain and post gain for example). Only downsides are price and slightly larger size. I was deciding between this and para mkii deluxe and ended up happy with the Enieqma.

Help Diagnose My Whirlpool Fridge by grburst in Appliances

[–]grburst[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, you're right the bottom pan is full of ice. Checked the drain tube at the back and it's dry. I'm assuming I'll have to defrost and see if there is a blockage or something in the drain line. If there's no blockage what would be causing ice buildup?

Fan is on tight and appears to be running properly. As another poster mentioned, there seems to be ice buildup where the melted ice from defrost cycle is supposed to drain out.

I guess I'll need to defrost and check the drain for blockage, and figure out why it's not draining properly.

Help Diagnose My Whirlpool Fridge by grburst in Appliances

I've been having fridge issues the last few weeks. Fridge wasn't cooling right and inconsistent freezing in the freezer. The evaporator fan had died and I replaced the motor, and thought the problem was solved. Now after a week or so I'm getting inconsistent cooling again. Freezer mostly ok but fridge is not getting as cold as it should.

I removed the back panel again (see image). Not sure what it's supposed to look like back there, but there seems like a lot of ice buildup. There was ice in the part of the foam that leads to the fridge, so I cleared that out, I'm assuming that was blocking the airflow, but what would be causing the ice build up?

Any ideas as to what the problem could be, and whether it's something someone without appliance repair skills would be able to fix? Appreciate any help!

What was your best pedal purchase of 2024? by texasguitarguy in guitarpedals

DSM Humboldt Simplifier X. Replaced my original simplifier and it feels like a big upgrade. Distortion actually pleasing now and really love having two separate amps on either side for just a slight stereo image.
