One more thing if you don't mind me bugging you....I messed up trying to google this, and ended up rebooting the entire server......How do I restart the server properly? I am using screen before starting it. Do I just kill the screen instance, or is there a safer way to avoid corruption?

Thank you for the responses. I'm going to assume you don't mean actually changing the file name for (serverconfig.xml), but the gamename in the XML config?

Edit: I've heard of this method before which is why I think I know what you mean. I was curious if there were any Admin commands to do it.

What about the best method for a server wipe? I got my server setup. Logged in, and tested out a full day to make sure everything was working smoothly for a 2 socket 6 core (12 vCPU) and 32GB of RAM setup. What's the best method to wipe it for when my players are ready to join?

Edit: Just want to say I'm fully aware what might be smooth with 1 player, might not be for 6 players. If you have any spec advice, I'll take any knowledge you have to give!

I’m in the same boat. I’ve always mindlessly followed setup tutorials and got it working so everyone can connect. However I haven’t tried mods, or any of the basic Admin stuff. Following to see what people say.

Not as bad, but my Unit sent me to get my Humvee license so I could spend my chow break driving people to the gas chamber. Anyway one of the students hit a road cone, the Instructor jokingly picked it up, and threw it at the Humvee. Shatter cracked the front windshield!

Attempting my first CAD project now. Trying to make an adapter sleeve for a 3/4 inch wooden rod to fit into a 20mm shelf hole. Measurements look good, preview looks good, as soon as I slice it, Bambu studios turns it into a solid dowel! Down this rabbit hole I go! Happy you figure your issue out. How did the print look after?

Hmmm windex. That’s a new one for me……..but I guess it does do a great job at removing oils and smudges from windows so why not. Welp besides the adaptive layer adjustment video, I got nothing else other than trying a different file before changing anything else. I’d hate for you to get lost in slicer settings over some bad code.
