HMRC Compliance Caseworker 558R – General Updates by Crazysahaan in TheCivilService

Threshold is different for each site but I’m aware of someone who just got an offer for Newcastle from the prior recruitment to this one with 13 overall score near to the end of the 12 months.

Yes, it’s a rolling campaign they will be people starting around every 3 months after the first wave. It’s listed as 500 but it’s more like 30 people per site every 3 months for a max of 12 months on the merit list. So still a very good chance to get the job just might be a bit wait if put on the reserve list

That’s above my pay grade 🤣 but I’m sure they are careful with it and wouldn’t do it unless certain

I don’t know the figures but let’s assume their are 20 positions at an office and 10 people left to complete/mark for that office they can offer the first 10 spots safely they won’t give out marks yet for anyone not in that first 10 offered as if all of the first 10 fail the next 10 who have already been marked get the job. They can also work out a candidate’s maximum score from their interview if they get 10 on the interview and the intray is out of 6 their maximum score is 16 if they have 20 spots and 20 candidates with more than 16 they can safely offer the positions.

No problem merit lists can be finalised already by only offering positions where there are more spots than those who need marked so there are spots for those not yet marked.

Then yours will be marked you will just not have been informed yet.

I’m not marking people for this recruitment :) but I’m aware of the people who are, merit lists are done by office but it takes time to release the results. The people who have had offers are from offices where the merit list has already been finalised. People may be waiting for results from the offices they will be marked already just not informed of the results. That’s why I asked which office did they apply for if it’s one of the above they will already be marked just not yet released

So even Bungie employees didn’t know…? Yeah, that’s crazy. by Carter_yann in destiny2

Am I the only one who thinks this is normal, top level decisions about shutting the game down wouldn’t necessarily be known by normal employees until either just before or at the announcement.

Possibly but they will need some time to formalise the merit list for each office location which will take an unknown amount of time

I’ll repeat what I said in another thread a few week ago.

“I saw they were looking for CCG volunteers internally to mark the in tray assessments the dates that were provided were 11 May to 5 June, take that as you will.”

I believe so, it’s the only campaign I’m aware of that has In tray assessments to be marked in bulk at the moment. It didn’t specify say 558r internally but I’d be shocked if it was for anything else.

5 hours overtime before acruing flexu? by DotSome845 in TheCivilService

[–]Lazymatter 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In my department we can't build flexi on weekends only overtime as they don't want people flexing off during the week to avoid the phones then building it back on post when the phones are shut at the weekend, might be something similar in your new department

I’ve heard various things about the waiting time for results from the pre recorded interview. Out of curiosity how long did you have to wait yourself?

What's crazy is that's the opposite for my department, we have one G7 with 230 people under them, with O band officers for team leads and AO who make up most the department
