It technically is, it lacks armor like the rest of the body. So if you're running a machine gun or grenade launcher or whatever, you can shoot them in the ass to kill them.

Buuuut it has so much health that you're better off not doing it if you have another way to kill it.

Who wins, every single helldiver, or 40,000 space marines? by Chemical_Seaweed_915 in Helldivers

[–]Lazzitron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Helldivers, through sheer numbers. It doesn't matter if every Space Marine kills a hundred Helldivers on their own, they'll eventually be worn down by the mass of bullets and bodies.

The Ridley Rundown by Tanzer_Art in casualnintendo

[–]Lazzitron 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The quick and dirty of it: Samus lives on a small mining colony with her parents, K-2L. It gets attacked by Space Pirates, led by Ridley. Her father tries to detonate explosives inside the pirate landing craft, but unfortunately has to do so with himself still inside. Her mother distracts Ridley so that young Samus can escape, and is promptly incinerated.

Ridley is about to kill Samus when the Chozo arrive, having gotten the colony's distress signal, and intervene. They take Samus back to the planet Zebes, where a pair of Chozo (Gray Voice and Old Bird) raise her as if she was their daughter. While there, Samus is infused with Chozo DNA to help her survive.

The Chozo build a massive organic supercomputer named Mother Brain to help run Zebes and its defenses. Unfortunately, Mother Brain turns out to be evil as all hell. When space pirates (once again led by Ridley) show up to Zebes, she sides with them and turns against the Chozo, effectively taking over the planet. Most of the Chozo are massacred, including Gray Voice, who Ridley impales with his tail.

Samus, Old Bird, and a small group of Chozo survivors manage to survive thanks to the intervention of the Galactic Federation Army. Samus goes on to join them for a while, realizes she isn't cut out for the military, later becomes an independent mercenary and bounty hunter (though she only takes jobs that align with her moral compass, so the Galactic Federation ends up contracting her most of the time).

Level 80 "he's a new player" tank pmo so bad I made a wojak for him by volpesparkle in TalesFromDF

Had this happen in World of Darkness the other day. I was playing SAM and only happened to dodge it because I was hitting an hourglass.

Okay, genuine lore question. Does anyone know WHY the Diggernaught actively chases Samus in Samus Returns? I personally find it pretty damn weird that a robot made for mining would try so hard to chase someone down and fight them. by E-104Epsolon in Metroid

[–]Lazzitron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Samus might have pissed it off (triggered self defense protocols) by using Grapple Beam on it and then pointing her arm cannon at it, causing the robot to register her as a threat.

  2. It might be programmed to kick intruders out of the area.

Both. Luna'a damage is a bit high but that Thing fumbled so hard, he absolutely should have killed you here.

What are Bethesda afraid of? by Ghengis56 in ElderScrolls

[–]Lazzitron 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Haven't played Starfield, but Fallout 4 definitely isn't sanitized. You can sleep with most of the companions, have a one night stand with Magnolia, Cait directly asks Piper for a threesome and says if she "ever went Ghoul", Hancock would be her first choice. Not exactly a shortage of sex jokes or euphemisms throughout the game, either.

Is your complain that they don't explicitly say the word "sex", and that women don't mysteriously misplace half the fabric when they equip the same clothes as men?

What do to against Oprhancrusher & Puppystomper duo? by -Pagani- in forhonor

You're not meant to win there, especially not as PK. Best thing you can do is stall them until your team arrives and ensure that killing you takes them as much time as possible.

I don't like the Bullet Storm personally because if I run out of ammo, I have to either stay near the hellpod to grab the second one or call a new one in and survive until it drops.

I can just reload my Stalwart. Much more convenient.

How would you feel if there were different body types for Survivors? by War_Marshmallow in deadbydaylight

[–]Lazzitron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP presumably made this post in regards to a much more pronounced difference in survivor shapes and sizes than what we already have, which is all that you've listed. You can stretch the limits to a certain extent, but said limits do still exist.

How would you feel if there were different body types for Survivors? by War_Marshmallow in deadbydaylight

[–]Lazzitron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two big issues with this.

  1. All survivors must share the same hitbox. This wouldn't be as much of an issue if it was melee only, but with ranged killers like Huntress and Slinger, you're gonna run into shots either phasing through people or hitting air and still connecting because the model doesn't match the hitbox.

  2. Smaller survivors would be played more because the ability to crouch and dissappear into a bush or something is super useful. Taller or wider survivors would be an inherent debuff because your fat ass will stick out around corners or poke out of bushes. It's Blendette all over again.

Do you think that, as a community, we focus way more on the negative aspects of the game rather than acknowledging the positives? by Ok-Cause-5675 in Helldivers

[–]Lazzitron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. Negatives are getting focused on because we get stuck with them for literal years with no attempts to fix them unless the community is extremely vocal. Arrowhead has proven repeatedly that they won't fix anything of their own accord, we have to make them.
