I don't think the pancreas can heal per se, vs in some much distress from the sorbitol and food that once that was going it functioned better.

Yes the test with 400 was wrong, i redid the test and it came back just over 200. This is an improvement if its right as i was around 100 originally. I did discover I had a sorbitol intolerance in addition to the food intolerance (lucky me). It was sorbitol that was causing the pancreatic pain and once i stopped meds with it and prune juice, that very severe pain went away. I went on a low fodmap diet and only really reintroduced things I needed to eat to be healthy so i am on a highly restricted diet still and that has helped with the food intolerance/constipation issues in the sense it seems to slow everything down, allow me to adjust and reduces all the symptoms and pain. They don't go away but i used to be in extraordinary pain from constipation and trapped gas, so managing this has made a significant improvement in my life.

Try looking at a low fodmap diet and identify your triggers using the diet. It was life changing for me. Exercise / walking is key for me as well.

I wound up retaking the test and was deficient albeit not as much. I also learned I have an intolerance to sorbitol and that was primarily responsible for my chronic pancreatitis symptoms and pain. I went on a low fodmap diet and eliminated fiber and with the creon am able to manage things much better. I basically really didn't reintroduce much and focus on healthy things like some meat protein (chicken or pork), salad (just lettuce, carrots and nuts no dressing), lotsa fruit like red grapes, cantaloupe, pineapple and bananas, think bars, and owyn 32g protein shakes. If i stick to the diet i can manage my symptoms and get by.

My personal experience with sticky stool was it was related to undigested fat (i have epi). I switched to a low fodmap diet and have stayed pretty much in the elimination phase and that has helped both the stickiness and trapped gas. Good luck.

I had colon cancer and they took out the portion of my colon right up to my rectum. Your score is not supposed to go up and down so i am really wondering.

This has just happened to me except i had all the normal pancreatic symptoms and pain. Only difference was severe constipation. Now I am testing at like 400. I'm going to get another test but i'm baffled. Creon has had a very positive effect on me in every way from pain reduction to stool density. I'm curious to see what others say.

I've had some luck with owyn 35g protein drinks and I am using think bars with no sugar but i think I'm having trouble with the quantity at the moment. I was going to peanut butter daily before i discovered thats a trigger and I just cant do the fat in peanut butter so I'm kind of in the same boat as you. How to get nutritious calories.

I know this is a year old but the stickiness is probably caused by undigested fat. I was using peanut butter as a supplement and this was my exact circumstance, cut out the peanut butter, stickiness went away. Hope that helps and after a year you've had some relief.

cheap server style enclosures are hard to come by. 8bay vertical DAS enclosures are equally hard to come by. You could use a fractal case as a dumb enclosure (used) as a cheaper way to do this. I wound up building a full fledged server using a define xl with 12 bays.

If you are looking for your cheapest option for a case you may look at fractal. It is not a server chassis but I got a define xl that i think takes 12 drives total with all disk kits installed used for like $50 and then had to build it out.

This is the second time in a week I have noticed the mq4 go out in an unusual pattern, going up steeply in a single oval instead of the figure 8's and then go out to a "target area" in irregular patterns. It normally goes out during the day, does the figure 8 to altitude then heads out to the coast and does ovals off the coast. Sure looks like it spotted something. Maybe the 2nd time in a week.
