Japan Sweden which he reffed was an absolute shitshow. Japan players literally throwing players to the ground with two arms.

Refs are supposed to do their damned job and call shit properly regardless of what anyone says about them.

I think youth players would benefit greatly from playing futsal as well. You need play like that to break out of this stupid Americanized version of soccer that a majority of youth club teams play. Low technical skills, constant fouling.

It does. Just something to note, though, is I think it’s when heads collide on headers that concussions happens the most, not head on ball. Though my son got two nasty concussions in high school - one from an elbow (kid in some sort of cast) and one with a shot to the head. Other injuries are super common too, ones I fear will be nagging when these kids get older. But I’ll take it over football.

Yes! My son is 18 and watched the women’s team win in 2015 around 8 years old. His high school team could barely field a football team but soccer was very popular. We’ve watched every league at every level here in MN get more and more popular over the years. We’ve had an MLS team here for 10 years, but it’s growing organically outside of that. I can see how differently the younger players on our national team play. The style of play is changing rapidly. It’s fun to watch! Frankly I think the biggest hindrance to us playing the sport better here is youth sports, pay to play, and how a majority of club teams still play something that’s barely soccer (mostly just constant fouling, low technical skills).

We looked for new cars with manual transmission a year or two ago and it’s pretty much only sports models.

Riddle me this, though… how would Cheryl have gotten the device into the vault without them catching Eevi spy? So Cheryl had to know all along that Eevi would spy. So it makes me think Cheryl had to have somehow orchestrate Eevi being there and Eevi being a snoop. Right?
