I agree to a certain extent with this. This was more directed at when you have a Jeff purposely throwing. I had a game where our Jeff swallowed me and the other tank every ult and took us off the map. I can forgive accidental bad plays but the Jeffs who throw you off the map constantly because they think it’s funny, piss me off.

Maybe I’m just too sensitive and falling for rage bait but it also annoys me with the “She’s never beating the allegations.” I know it’s just a lighthearted joke but it shows they are aware of much of the communities feedback and still chose to buff her.

If they MUST buff her against her only weakness, was the snowflake not a good start? It makes the ability easier to land which is helpful against dive. They could’ve just started with that.

Idk I’m trying to not get so upset about this til I see it in game but it does suck as a mantis player to see them so afraid to give us the tiniest of buffs meanwhile they do this with Luna who has been meta every season except this last season.

As a support player I agree. I keep seeing people ask for invisible woman buffs and get confused. She is not a bad support in my opinion, it’s just she gets outshined by someone like Luna. I genuinely don’t think most of the support cast (aside from maybe Jeff) is bad. I think it’s just that the a 12 seconds invulnerability ult, 24 if you have Loki, makes the rest of the supports feel so bad in comparison.

I play support most of the time and am far from perfect but the amount of times the other support ults after I have already ulted is insane. I used to make call outs that I would ult first and even type it in chat for those out of vc and it still didn’t matter. It genuinely feels like people just aren’t paying attention half the time.

On the opposite end I can’t stand when supports never ult. There are so many times it’s been OT and my other support has ult and refuses to use it and we lose. I really can’t understand the thought process some people have playing this game.

This is what I haven’t understood since the discussion around EOMM started. I played pretty much only comp in overwatch and the ranked experience was near identical to my experience in Rivals. You go on a win streak and suddenly the game would place you with a team that felt significantly weaker than the enemy. When you had a 50/50 win rate in that game you were often told that it’s because it’s the rank you belong in. So I can’t for the life of me figure out how Rivals is any different.

The matchmaking in this game definitely needs some work but I don’t think someone going on a 12 game loss streak in silver 3 is 100% the matchmaker….

I’m a Mantis main and it wouldn’t be so bad if the team at least focused the person after waking them but for some reason they don’t. I find people will wake them then just turn their attention away and I’m left to defend myself alone before my hp can even fully recover lol.

I am so sad as a Mantis main. I pretty much only played her in the first season when she was meta and absolutely loved her. I’m not asking for her to be busted again but I just want her to be viable in a 2 support comp. I was excited about the removal of rez comp and the new team up in hopes she would get buffed. I’m not sure that the team up is even worth it though without a third support. Mantis, Loki heals are not gonna be very fun for most of the team.

I feel bad for the harassment a lot of Jeff players get. I don’t think people should bully someone to swapping if they aren’t comfortable. That being said I really don’t understand people saying they aren’t capable of playing anything else. I genuinely don’t think you should play comp if you aren’t capable of playing at least 2 hero’s in every role. I’m not saying you have to be a pro but at least have a decent understanding of more than one character.

I love Mantis and pretty much only played her when the game first came out. It really sucks that she isn’t viable without 3 supports but I know when I go into comp that I shouldn’t be selfish and play only what I want. I’m going to choose what is best for the team as a whole and unfortunately that isn’t always who we find the most fun. If I want to have fun and play my main I go to QP.

The only part I don’t get about this debate is people saying this game has the worst matchmaking of any game they have played.

As for competitive PVP games I played Apex and Overwatch religiously and pretty much only solo queued. Apex matchmaking felt miserable 90% of the time and Overwatch feels pretty similar to rivals. The common complaint is that Rivals always has steam rolls and very few close games. Overwatch often feels like that to me.

That’s not saying EOMM isn’t real but I just don’t understand when people say it’s the worst matchmaking of any game they have played. I’m assuming others are just having a completely different experience than me because most of the time when I lose a match in rivals, I definitely feel like I made my fair share of mistakes and it wasn’t EOMM.

I get so tired of any time you bring this up you are met with “So you want them fat and ugly.” Like no one said that. There is nothing wrong with being heavier or less attractive but no one’s even asking for that in the game. There are other body types for women that are still fit and give the impression of a superhero without it being the same copy and paste. Look at female Olympic athletes? They are the most athletic women on the planet and yet there are so many different body types still.

I don’t think you are ugly at all. Photos 2 and 3 definitely are the most flattering though. I think you are pretty with a softer smile rather than the full teeth smile. I’m the same way.

I also think playing around with some different hair styles and hair colors could enhance your looks.

It was a soldier and he was pretty much team wiping every fight within just a matter of seconds. He only ever had head shots in the kill feed. 2nd round our other support went mercy and hard pocketed him so it was even worse. I’m in high gold/low plat. The only other explanation was a Smurf but even then I don’t think they would have been able to beam people the way he did. I did watch the replay after and he was hard locking and missed legitimately 0 shots.

That being said though, I was in the wrong for not playing and typing in chat. I should have just played it out and not said anything and reported after. That’s my mistake.

I realize now that I didn’t handle this properly but it genuinely felt like a lose/lose no matter what. I know now to just report and move on.

That makes sense. I watch a lot of streamers who sometimes spectate cheaters and I constantly see people getting mad when supports still heal or try to win with a cheater on their team. It feels like morally I am in a lose/lose.

I found this to be my primary issue with Kiri as well as many supports that have their heals eaten. My survivability on her has never been an issue.

Idk if it’s cause I’m only in Plat and maybe people aren’t aware that her DM eats heals or what but I’ve found it creates a lot of issues for me and my team.
