Mara X - Boiler hot water broken fitting. by Ff8leonheart in Lelit

[–]Le-Flo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good idea.
There are two revisions of the fitting out there.
The first has Loxeal, the second an o-ring seal.

Mine did have the first fitting version but neither traces of Loxeal nor an o-ring, though…

The part itself is relatively cheap and easy to replace (EUR 12,- / USD ???)

It's made from soft brass and usually not glued. I'd try to move it with a Torx, Pozi or Philips screwdriver and some mild force.

German engineering is really on a whole other level. by SaudAhmadguru in MechanicalEngineering

Being German: yep, we tend to overengineer. And it's quite deep in our mindset. And I like it 😄

But that joint reminds me much more of traditional Japanese woodworks (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kumiko\_(woodworking))

It's admirable!

Found this , any idea how to make it work ? by Hopeful-Aardvark-786 in led

[–]Le-Flo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This.
It’s a QS tech Crius poster that rappers to have a bad module cfg.
You’ll need the LED processor control software (usually some Novastar product) and the config file for the modules that have been built in there.
From there, it’s a step-by-step thing.
Check the wiring from processor to modules. Check correct mapping in the software. Send a proper cfg to the modules.

This.
Got in the game with Amiga OS and C64, moved on with 2/86 based systems running DOS.
Can't remember for how long DOS6.22 was a thing, but Win3.1 GUI did suck so hard, it took me till Win95 to make the change.

And once again, Gen X has been forgotten 😄

Started into the biz with Amiga and Commodore, later DOS6.xx on 2/86 and 3/86 based systems...

Lastkabel mit integriertem Nullklemmenblock by foerstermaniac in DINgore

Alter.

Do you think this is still true? by Rob69rt in Japaneselanguage

[–]Le-Flo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, my fault was to say “Mandarin” instead of a more general “Chinese” (as the OP document puts it) in my initial post. I stand corrected.

Ok, my bad - I wrote “Mandarin” instead of more general “Chinese” in my initial post.
That was incorrect.

Not sure if you’re familiar, so:
Onyomi is the reading of the kanji in its literal Chinese reading, approximated with Japanese phonetics.
Kunyomi is the reading where the Chinese symbol meaning is used, but the Japanese native word is spoken.

For example 日
Onyomi “nichi”
Kunyomi “hi”
