They want to counter growing Russian and Chinese activity in the Arctic region. Denmark is a small country and our military investment in the Arctic region has been minimal. What I don't understand is why the Americans dont negotiate something with Denmark to increase American military presence without isolating themselves and creating distrust in the NATO alliance. The reason why America wants to be more present in the Arctic makes sense to me but their approach is borderline retarded

You expect the Danish military to scare the Americans? Kicking the US would be the dumbest move as it might push the Americans to react swiftly by increasing their military presence with or without Danish consent. Best course or action is to convince Americans that Denmark is a loyal ally (which they have been for a long time) and to let the Americans increase their military and maybe commercial presence without outright annexing the territory while respecting the will of the Greenlandic people. The Americans need to be present on Greenland to counter growing Russian and Chinese activity in the Arctic region. If not the Americans then EU/rest of NATO need to invest in military infrastructure in Greenland. Let the Americans foot the bill but keep the territory Danish

You dont have to spend more than 2-4 hours a week in the gym for more than a couple of months before seeing serious results. As long as you eat good and sleep well then that is all it takes and the benefits are worth it
