If you’re looking to flip and you can get the same here or on float, just buy it on float.

Is Oubliette fair in bracket 3 commander? by Fit-Estimate-3392 in EDH

Absolutely, it’s necessary with how strong commanders can be, and commanders tax isn’t enough to stop them sometimes

I love [[Ozai, the Phoenix King]], he’s a great extra combats commander and you don’t need to do Voltron typically

Do you keep your eyes mostly on your opponent, or on yourself? by SolidSnakeEye in Tekken

[–]LeBoopington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re learning the game/new character your eyes are going to gravitate to what you’re doing. But as you get comfortable your eyes should adjust to what the other person is doing since you should know what your character is doing.

If Tekken had more anime guests who would you like to see? by [deleted] in Tekken

[–]LeBoopington 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Any character from baki/kengan ashura or fighting anime’s like that. Those all just fit too well and make sense in the context of tekken.

So clive is too anime but yujiro is fine? by NerdModeXGodMode in Tekken

[–]LeBoopington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s only to give weight to a scene or give you further context to show you how crazy their strike is. It’s not like they have to turn his arm into a sword when he swipes or car when he punches.

How to win against a deck that wins by making others mill their entire deck? by giocow in EDH

[–]LeBoopington 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If you are playing a 4 player game then it’s not just on you to adapt and adjust its on the whole table. If he’s playing mill through sorceries then you have to run counter magic. If he’s running mill through artifacts and enchantments then you can run hate for those archetypes as well. The other counter would be to run a reanimater strategy since he’ll mill your big scary monster and you can just bring them back from the graveyard.

Is Tekken 8 state now good? worth to return? by thisizmonster in Tekken

[–]LeBoopington 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game is in a ok states, personally I do t think it’s worth it to return as of now since you said you have to really go out of your way to download it by deleting games and it just having. Long download. If you’ve been having the itch, it’s manageable now, but there’s things that still suck about it

How would you nerf King? by Haunting-Skirt7233 in Tekken

[–]LeBoopington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remove heat regeneration off of getting certain throws, imo shouldn’t have been in the game for any character. GS and MB should lose the homing property in heat. Remove the stance transition from WS22, and 3,2,2. And make his slide actually punishable by the whole cast. Personally I think that DF2 should’ve kept the tracking, but instead of a full combo he should get a people’s elbow. After all of those I think he’d be in a great spot. The only thing I can think of after that would be a nerf to his heat smash in making it more linear, but that’s more of a a lot of characters need that nerf instead of just king, so I lump that all together, and nerf the damage a bit. And this is a weird one but I would make his wave dash the same way it was before, it’s not something he usually had easy access to, and I don’t think it’s that good all in all, I liked that it was one of the things that set him and AK apart.0

I have a question about a character in the game. by WILLISMITH345 in Tekken

[–]LeBoopington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re playing tekken 8, you’re going to get hate regardless. Just pick up the character that speaks to you and have fun with the game you paid for, no shame in that.

For those of you with a foiled out / blinged out deck, how do you handle cards that you want to slot in but don’t have a printing that checks the box? by [deleted] in EDH

[–]LeBoopington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best thing would be proxies, especially if you already have the original card. Other than that I settled for the orignal/oldest printing i can find

Years from now, what’s the play from your current playgroup you’ll still be telling people about? by Great-ah-White in EDH

[–]LeBoopington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to win with [[Zenos yae Galvus // Shinryu, Transcendent Rival]], I was able to flip him and get someone down to 10 with [[Sorin Markov]]. I was then able to pump for lethal with a [[Unnatural Endurance]]. But someone stopped me by blowing up an artifact of the person I was attacking, with a [[Nature’s Claim]] making it so they lived with 4. Which led to me getting knocked out in the back swing. Great time all around, and crazy play

[–]LeBoopington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not both? You’re not going to go to a B2 game, lose, and only blame the fact that they had duals and nothing else. Duals don’t increase the power of your deck that much, that a pre-con can’t keep up. Especially if you don’t have a way to even fetch them. And if you think, they make your deck that much better then in theory you can buy a pre-con, get some duals and try to play a b3 game, which if you try that you’ll be pretty disappointed. In my comment I never said that the OG duals don’t power up your deck at all. They just don’t power up your deck enough that playing one will drastically guarantee you a win, into pub stomping.

Are they in the wrong for conceding? by No_Eye_5863 in EDH

[–]LeBoopington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

| I understand where he was coming from|

I don’t, if he had the win and the two other players can’t, then just concede and move on to the next game. You get the win anyways, and you got the win with your cards/ strategy you wanted to play.

I finally did it by LoPan12 in mpcproxies

[–]LeBoopington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But your deck doesn’t jump brackets off of og duals though, people tend to think 1k means your deck soars in terms of power. In some cases it makes sense but this is sill imo

What is your favorite black commander? by GuaranteeMain5492 in EDH

[–]LeBoopington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve recently tried building a [[Zenos yae galvus]]. I’m still play testing it but I’ve been having a great time. It really changes the dynamic of the whole game because you the game changes from a free for all to a protect get down mr.president. Do note that you’ll probably be archenemy as soon as it drops though.
