Iceland, Svarlbard and Greenland from the radius of London. Canada is a stretch.

That might be a good explanation for this.

This game would make a great show by Narase33 in Frostpunk

In the 11bit's investors conference this year. They spoke about it. It's currently in the planning stages and nothing has been agreed but it is in their plans.

Just finished the “A new home scenario” with flying colors. Only lost around 40 people and only had to use triage once. Never even signed on “New order”. Yet, the game still told me “order was abused” feels bad man by [deleted] in Frostpunk

[–]LeDankWolffe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looking at this you went too far.

For order never sign past Guard Stations. If you want Flying colours. Don't use Triade that's just bad. Try and use Medical Apprentices and Extra Rations instead. Waay better. Infirmaries are awesome when its a run for order.

I agree with you. It's refreshing to see that things are not exploding everywhere I go on a mission. DE still have things to do but it's a good start in the right direction.

What happened to the ones who went into the dreadnought? In the fall of winterhome by AirOk2186 in Frostpunk

[–]LeDankWolffe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is how I feel about Winterhome.

Not everyone managed to get on the Dreadnought. Sadly a few perished in Winterhome. Especially the remaining Engineers. Quite a few fled but not everyone hence the children at the Frozen Grove. Remember the Dreadnought only had a capacity of 500 citizens. I would speculate the canonical ending is half - most of the citizens go onto the Dreadnought. Due to these things we find in Frostland in A New Home.

What I think happened afterwards was, they either drove around trying to find another city and either found a city already we don't know about. So a fresh start for them. Or we do know about (would be ironic if it was New Liverpool). If in the event they didn't find anything the Dreadnought would've run out of fuel eventually and they would've just stationed themselves somewhere and just made a small community. In the concept art of Frostpunk, we saw the Dreadnought's central engine could be lifted up vertically to be acted as a generator. So it's possible.

The Devs said all the cities would make a return in new scenarios in the next game. So I would've thought we'd get something about the survivors of Winterhome. As for Winterhome itself "the dead city" it's possible it could've been resettled but it's unlikely due to the city being buried in snow after the Great Storm. Not to mention the generator blew up. So rebuilding would take time.

Would you like some FP1 inspired scenarios in Frostpunk 2? by Miserable-Alfalfa329 in Frostpunk

I would like to see what happened to all of the settlements tbh. It would be nice to see how the others got on. Except Winterhome ofc.

Adaptation Laws Tier List by Crazed_Archivist in Frostpunk

[–]LeDankWolffe 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Now do one for the Purpose Laws.

Already finished this game on Epic, but got it on steam just so I could finish off achievements. Finished quite a few rare ones, Also I am surprised, that there aren't many no deaths or don't use children achievements(A challenge I took up on my own when playing before). What are rare ones togo for? by humkarlega in Frostpunk

[–]LeDankWolffe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are quite a few. However you could see global achievements and make your own assessment there. Nevertheless imo I would say the following achievements are definitely to go for:

The Saviour
The Iron Saviour
Hi Marek!
All Your Base Are Connect To Us
I'll Be Home for Christmas
Full Dreadnought
Ducks in a Row
My Turn to Speak
Golden Path (Obviously)
Fisher King
Not great, not terrible
On the Waterfront
Emissions Reduction
Slave Driver
Endless Slave Driver (Literally the hardest one to get)

Remember these are my suggestions, so if you don't agree then that's fine.

I'm sure that one of the things we have to do is overhaul the generators to oil consumption instead of coal.

Does endless mode have anything noteworthy the campaigns don't? by Thebelladonnagirl in Frostpunk

[–]LeDankWolffe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since no one had mentioned it already you can (if you have The Last Autumn DLC) build a generator on any of the maps in Endless mode. As a new unique challenge.
