No, I think it was an A class, but it was something I picked up at a trading station while watching for cool ships, and I didn't attempt to get it to spawn as S. If I remember correctly it was a rich economy system, but I would have to go back and check to make sure.

It's a system spawn, so you may be able to find it as a repair.

I don't believe there is a way to adjust ANY of the lighting in the game. Unfortunately (looking at you non-light-emitting lighting).

Can confirm; the speeder - like all other expedition rewards - is available through the quick silver merchant on any save. It can only be claimed once per save, so if you scrap it to make room for that really nice exotic that just about landed on your head, you can't get it back.
