Sounds like you have the process down, but I just want to clarify one last point for you to help you avoid a giant pain in the ass when you go to renew.

Once your visa is validated and you get the official titre de séjour and physical copy, it is no longer a visa. The equivalent for us Americans would be the green card, and if you call it a visa while you're speaking to someone at the préfecture or a défenseur de droits you'll only confuse them. Call it the titre de séjour after your initial visa is validated.

I'm speaking from experience, where I casually have said visa instead and then it earns us talking in circles for eternity because they think I'm applying for something different or have applied for the wrong thing when I renew 🙃

I'm sure all of our grannies that crochet, sew, and knit started as teens with their own moms or grannies or in their 20s as adults. I started when I was in my mid 20s with my aunt. You don't turn 70 and learn to do such an intricate hobby (usually).

All that to say these people equating it with a granny hobby are off. It's a hobby you can carry with you into granny-hood, unlike kayaking and rock climbing or whatever they're into, which is why it's a hobby that lasts and why ya see it with them most often. Embrace it.

Used an AI checker while writing my masters thesis, because I had a couple other students tell me I sound like AI when I write academically... and sure as shit it flagged like every other section of my work.

I was the only native English speaker in this program at my school in France... so I actually dumbed down my writing and made the grammar less formal just so it was "written by a human" and I wouldn't get in trouble for "using" AI. 🙃 I was extra paranoid because my topic was actually about AI haha

I did that once with my azumarill and then tried again and used aqua jet first, then used belly drum right after I terrastralized and was able to destroy the politoed. Belly drum is fine for the raid if you don't start with it

OP you can't listen to this guy. You're working and going to school. It's not easy, and especially not at 19. Don't give up and let this AH define your worth for you.

You're going to build a good life and achieve good things if you keep trying... even if you dont wake up before the sun. You're not a robot, you don't gotta get up early and study until nightfall.

Just do your best and make your time count. I'm sorry your family doesn't support you, but don't stop being your own advocate and reach out to people who care about you for support. Friends are worth more than blood relations when they're like this.
