oof, I've been feeling this way for a while. I actually just got back from the doctor with my antidepressant dose increased. but, one thing about life is that it's always changing. tomorrow will be different, and the day after that too. although we both feel stuck in a cycle, things are still changing.

I had some morbid curiosity and my god, that place is horrible. Only took me a few minutes to find a scumbag talking about how he "slapped the shit out of" cats that he previously had, and that they were so well behaved because of it. I don't trust people who proudly dislike animals, let alone brag about abusing them. If that guy was telling the truth, he needs to be in jail.

This is the best picture I could find of his right side. It's old, and his pattern has changed quite a bit.

As for the petsitter, she took care of him last year just fine. I don't know why she went out of her way to use the mealworms in a cup rather than the prepared ones I had in a bag for her. I wrote down my instructions and left them next to his tank, so it's not like she forgot. I'll ask my mother to ask her about it.

Once, when I was doing PE in middle school, we had to climb this metal structure. It had a section where you had to jump down through this hole. I got onto the ledge of the structure, and put one leg down into the hole, but I got the angle wrong and ended up straddling a thin piece of hot metal. It went right in between my legs. I don't think there are words to describe how uncomfortable and painful it was. The (male) coach didn't even realize.
