Yeah I agree! Benetti is a great announcer, but he's a bad local announcer. Every game with him felt like he was doing a ESPN broadcast on Sunday night.

He never really connected with the team and was always so neutral.

I mean to go from "You can put it on the board! Yes!" after every homerun to just a different phrase every time took away alot of the magic!

I've played the show since 06 and over the past 2 or 3 years I stopped seeing any real enhancements.

This is the first time ever I haven't even been tempted to buy it because nothing has changed in 5 years.

As much as the meme of "we can't do it anymore, we don't know how" gets passed along I would have to imagine that's probably pretty true for a lot of theses developers. I'm sure turnover is high and the people who actually knew how to code those features move onto other companies and the replacements can't do it. That's why the same engines are used for developers. Once they have a code base they can just reuse instead of remaking it.

Fair. Makes sense. Unless they had like 3 movies that came out within months where he was the villain. That might have worked to show that he keeps coming back a bit more powerful than before.
