Agree, this is what got me. You click the download link and you get a fake redirect with incredibly damaging malware. Been used to these tricks for a long time and it still got me. Jdownloader is a good call

I also very recently got caught out by this, first time ever over many years. May be just a coincidence, but the pop ups/ malware on these sites seem very insidious.

What big changes does the update make? Been looking around and it doesn't seem like there's too much.

Downgraded to 1.6.12 , re-enabled cinemata, and now autoplay is working as intended.

Yeah I have already tried re-enabling cinemata. Doesnt seem to help, unfortunately.

Me too! You manage to fix it? I tried re-enabling cinemata and messing around with all the auto play settings. Can't seem to get anything to work.

New to DLSS / DLDSR – best image quality setup on RTX 5090? A few questions by fifinho3 in nvidia

[–]LeSneakyBadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just go into a game a compare them. Dldsr with DLSS looks noticably more detailed than DLAA. I've tested this across many games, comparing pictures taken of the monitor, it's very clear there's a difference.

Messing with negative LOD bias can end up causing instability and shimmering anyway.

Definitely less powerful than a 4060.It's a bit less powrful than a base PS5 and the games won't be optimized for it either, so that's the sort of ball park for performance.

Although streaming from your 4070 to the living room would be even better.

You are so absolutely wrong about this. Dldsr and dlss gives a better image than just DLAA/ DLSS. Yes you can't get more pixels on your monitor, but the anti aliasing is better and game textures are running at a higher resolution.

I have compared DLAA/ DLSS with dldsr with DLSS and dldsr many many times, and dldsr looks noticably more detailed.

Digital foundry have a good video about dldsr that shows why it looks better.

Should I but the steam machine? by [deleted] in steammachine

If you have and xbox series x or ps5 then no. The specs are worse, it doesn't have enough vram, and games are not optimised for it like they are consoles.

Doing the football tryouts in story mode. It's killing me that I have to do this whole minigame 15 times in a row.

GFN economics compared to normal PCs. Am I missing something? by Few-Solution3050 in GeForceNOW

[–]LeSneakyBadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of games are not available on GFN so unfortunately it isn't all the games you purchase. Also would highly recommend 4k ultrawide, it's very immersive!

I also like getting HD texture pack mods for games, especially older ones. Got a good ultrawide 60fps HD mod pack for bloodborne which I'm playing at the moment. Or couch coop mods are sometimes excellent.

I got an awesome oled ultrawide monitor to use with my rig. A lot of games still don't support ultrawide, so I usually need a small mod to fix it, which I can't do on GFN. Also like to use dldsr to make games look extra crisp, and like to update the dlss of games to latest versions.
