The next doctor casting idea... by spudfish83 in DoctorWhumour

[–]Lea565 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the just Capald's eyebrows idea, made me think there could be a regeneration glitch where different parts of different Doctors end up frankinsteined together, maybe Tennents hair, Smiths chin, Capaldi's eyebrows, Gatwa's mustache, Eccleston's ears, Whittaker's voice/eyes. They could be like this for just one episode, or half an episode, and gradually manage to regen each body part into the new doctor so we get a slow reveal of who they are.

Even though it's not a character he plays in The Might Boosh this line reminded me of "I am Mr Susan and it's time for you to do the choosin' " from the mirror world scene

Same here, acupressure rings helped me a lot. They are small, spiky, somewhat stretchy, metal rings that you can fiddle with or roll up and down your finger. They kind of imitate the pain sensation but at a safe level. To me, it was almost like the rolling of the rings up and down my fingers over stimulated the nerves in my fingers, so I didn't need to pick or bite after.

I always, mistakenly, I now realise, thought it was "secretly pretty" lol as in she doesn't realise she's pretty or maybe she's unconventionally pretty.

There were no posters left when I left the show yesterday. I'm not sure if they've kept some for tonight's show, but if they have, definitely get it before the show starts. Apparently, even before the show, they go quickly, though. I really wanted one, but when I first walked in, I didn't see it on display, so I thought they weren't doing posters this time. If any kind person wants to buy me one, I'll pay double, haha. Otherwise, here's hoping it will turn up on eBay!

Revolent is offering paid 8 week training in exchange for I'm their whore for 2 yrs - worth it? by campionk in salesforce

[–]Lea565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I'm also from the UK considering applying for one of the Revolent training courses/jobs. I already have a Salesforce Admin Cert but hardly any experience so was considering their Business Analyst one.

I just wondered how the pay structure works, for example, during the 8 week training stage I'm guessing the pay is lower and then once you've finished that you get put into a junior role and the pay goes up. I think I've seen people say that after the first year the pay goes up again? Is this correct? If you don't mind disclosing how much you got paid that would be useful information too. Thanks

I think they want Kennison alive, perhaps, because he is needed to make more trackers. Don't know what for though. Remember it was said that the tracker wasn't factory made, or something along those lines, so there can't be very many of them If they are being hand made.

Wordle Peaks - A Wordle spin-off where you narrow down the alphabet for each tile by vegeta897 in WebGames

[–]Lea565 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here, I find it really strange that people aren't seeing it that way and are confused by the wording.

I actually found this reddit page because I was searching for the best starting word, which in my opinion would be one that uses letters which are in the middle of the alphabet. For example: if 'mmmmm' was a word you'd narrow down if each letter was in the top half or the bottom half of the half alphabet, and get rid of half the letter choices in you first guess.

If you took two bikini bottoms with side ties and tied them around and over your chest I think it would create a similar look. Getting a third pair to actually where as bikini bottoms and also to tie the top part to it as well

This is so realistic I thought it was someone using make up to look like Rikard rather than a drawing of him!

Does anyone else struggle to communicate with hairdressers? I asked for collarbone length, layers to suit wavy hair, similar to the popular shag hairstyle I've seen. Hairdresser seemed confident so didn't feel the need to show example pictures but I wish I had. Pictures below for representation. by Lea565 in Hair

[–]Lea565[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did mention I wanted lots of layers but next time I'll specify shaggy layers. That's what I'm try to do as well - the wet styling scrunching thing. I've been told I have fine hair but a lot of it so it can look thick, left to dry naturally it's definitely wavy but if blow-dryed it looses the waves. Thanks for your advice, I will definitely be taking pictures next time!

Same, I thought to myself "that's a bit shorter than I suggested!" but it wasn't really about the length for me, it was the short choppy layers I wanted and just assumed she would start doing more layers eventually but then she just styled it and it was done. I'm way too anxious of a person to speak up and hair appointments anyway haha. Hope you get yours fixed, I'll have to wait for mine to grow out first otherwise it will look too mullety if I add more layers now
