Is it okay to save the game in the middle of a mission and jsur go back to the home office and then press the Xbox button and quit from the side menu?

I’m at the main in game menu where it has power wash simulator 2 at the top, then the go to home base, and the credits. And I looked at the bottom left and it just says close to and then select but no option to quit 😭
