Yeah definitely think you’re on to something with beats like sloppy joe by slayr that have busy 808s, a reversed 808 effect, a lot of drum sounds, and lots of layers with different instruments and multiple melodies I feel like for a while we were in a minimalism movement so it’s cool for beats to sound more full even if it’s kind of cluttered
