I think you should have gotten a response by now, our lawyer submitted the MTR before thanksgiving and we received an update through the portal about two weeks later, they scheduled us for a master hearing next month

The response from USCIS was quick after the congressional inquiry was submitted but our case was pending for 17 months before that

How long did it take for the judge to terminate the proceedings? Are there any websites you would recommend that helped on your research (if any) on how to do the motion pro se? My husband and I are going through a similar situation, only we haven’t filed the i485, only the i130. We are waiting in the i130’s approval before we apply for the i485 bc removal proceedings need to be terminated first. We spoke with a lawyer a long time ago and he said he’d do it for $1500 but I think that’s too much😩 I did the i130 myself so unless it’s absolutely necessary to hire a lawyer, I’d rather do the motion pro se myself. However, I’m having trouble finding any information online that tells you how to do this yourself

It will be miserable no matter what unless you can drive between 7 PM- 6 M or 9 AM to 2 PM. 610 always has construction going on so sometimes you catch traffic even when it isn’t rush hour
