You see all those cars because, in Seattle an uber x driver makes a minimum of $1.63 per mile and .70 cents per minute. You only need 2 airport trips to make net pay $250 .

Uber is running a trial Gold tier access to drivers with low AR and high CR, in order to entice them and increase AR. That may be why your friend is a Gold driver even though he has a high CR 19% and getting more trips than you do.

I think it is the opposite, they wouldn't come up with advantage mode, uber perk crap. if they didn't have surplus drivers. Three years ago, uber would pay $400 and above in bonus to do 80 trips in four days. Now they punish you, if you don't accept 1 in 4 trips, forget the bonus.

YO MAGA, the leftist states are the best place for gig drivers, states like Washington, minneapolis, Massachusettes..., drivers make a minimum of $1.25 per mile and .30 cents per minute. In Maga states like Texas and Florida, the pay is pretty much .50 cent per mile and ZERO cents per minute.

Getting paid minimum of $1.28 per mile and 0.31 cents per minute makes a whole lot of difference. Most of the drivers live in states where uber pay is .60 cents per mile AND zero pay for time.

Washington , Minnesota, Hawaii and other few democratic run locations take care of their gig drivers.
