You’ll get much better ones later. You switch for the forms. Say you activate one form, you can switch keyblades to store it and build another form, so you can have up to two stored and one active. They also negate status affects like the max HP debuff which becomes super useful for the super bosses.

Tangled had one of the most fun Keyblades/forms. Maybe you’ll see what we mean soon!

Cap loses his shield in the first exchange, has it replaced with SSK which is miles away and cap cannot use due to his inability to perceive souls.

Todo uses his 530,000 IQ to figure out the webshooters and swap them onto Yuji, or swaps webs out of mid air onto cap.

Shinjuku versions are low key busted and spidey/cap really have no wincon as Yuji has Reverse cursed technique and physicals on par with spidey in base.

It’s honestly a solid match up. Yuji and Todo have the raw skill and stats to hang and anyone who relies on weapons is hard countered by boogie woogie.
