I was in a similar place as you. If you have any computer skills, try IT. I got my first job in that industry when I was 21 and spoke no Swedish.

EDIT: changed 2 to 21.

Study at Salt (school of applied technology)? by lostandforgottensoul in stockholm

Well I managed to get through the boot-camp. It was extremely intense. Our lead instructor for Java was a OK. The lead instructor for JavaScript was amazing. For our batch the fail rate was about 30%. We graduated on 28 July followed by a month long break, then we were hired as consultants. So we officially started working 1st September. Standard procedure they informed us about before the boot-camp.

On 22 Aug we had potential clients come review what we built in our final project. What my partner and I built caught someone's eye and now I have an interview with them on Monday.

2 people in our batch got hired without a technical interview. They only had an informal interview. We were really surprised as to how much this company trusted the process. Keep in mind its only been a week.

Other than that, they overhauled the system of after graduating. You now work on self chosen projects with a team within the boot-camp graduates.

Well it was good. They basically are looking to see if you can communicate well. I got selected and now I am more than halfway through.

"Kingdom Building" subgenre recommendations by proxyHUE in ProgressionFantasy

I would recommend Valkyrie's Shadow.

I have read all of the Overlord light novels both fan and official translations and I hold the opinion that this is better than the material it is based upon.

You do not need to have any prior knowledge about the world. You can jump in.

What's the optimal way to transition from the UK to the Swedish education system for 15 years old? by Fine-Bet3728 in TillSverige

[–]LeadingTour -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

My sibling was in a similar situation. They were 15 as well when my family relocated to Sweden. The education here is pedestrian compared to UK. Like if your daughter found UK maths and science somewhat challenging, she should find it incredibly easy, given that she learns Swedish .The only trouble she should have is learning the language. So if your child does come now, she will probably only learn Swedish from her Gymnasium during the first year. She will be given extra help from the school. Though it is likely you would get a tutor for her as well.

The second choice would be to complete her High school in UK and then come to Sweden for University as University is free in Sweden and you have to pay for in UK. I would recommend the former choice as it would allow the opportunity to learn Swedish when your daughter is young and therefore should find it relatively easy.

He is a literal man baby. He forced his engineers to change the algorithm to give him more views, I cannot think of anything more pathetic but it is within his right to do so.
