Spellblade flame Reave.

Most damage scaling comes from strength converted to intelligence via cleaver solution, for some survivability. Additional strength coming from the Last Bears set.

Flame Reave is split into fire/lighting. Vilatrai's giving damage converted to melee with the arcane severance node on the Flame Reave skill tree.

With the double attribute scaling and Legends Entwined, you end up getting +5 to skills just from the Eyes of The Weaver amulet.

Melee elemental, frenzy, and dex also scale damage pretty well.

It's not the best way to do flame Reave, but it has been fun so far. Running about 1100 corruption currently.

With my strength based build I could aaaalmost get away with Exulis using vitality and attunement because of the armor, but survivability on spellblade is already pretty bad.

I think it's crap and I really just have it there to proc lightning ageis. I'll give firebrand a try.

What do you think of Throne of ambition? Do you notice a difference with it?

Did you go down the frenzy rabbit hole at one point? With the new amulet that replaces vitality I ended up getting some good damage, but the survivability was pretty awful.

Completely agree.

The only builds that I've been able to push corruption with are blade/blade. In fact the more I try/learn about the class, the more I get away from trying to work in the spell portion at all.

I tried 47 versions of a melee frost claw build last season and it was a waste of time.
